for me, I find it very creepy. A guy who always gives you anything you want, buying you expensive things for me is scary. It makes me think that there is something deep inside him that scares me. Like a hidden personality.
what do you think?

It's kind of like a spider luring its meal into its web.
I never really thought of this, it is kind of creepy. Some people spend materially because they don't know how to offer anything emotionally. Or, maybe they are in the position to share their wealth.
I think an occasional gift is nice, but constantly, you may wonder what they are wanting in return.
