hello dear myLotters.
i have a question and i want to know your opinions about it.
well, do you agree that exams results to be disseminate or shown in public.
i mean do you want from the administration to disseminate your results on public so everyone can see it either they were good grades or bad ones?

It is good thing for the student who score good marks in the examination and bad thing for the student who doesn't score well...Well in my school..the result is given to only those student in publicly who has come in top 3 rankings and remaining result disclose in their classes...But in my college the results have furnished in display board and we have to check by roll numbers...I think I can't say this result display publicly..because no one can understand whose marks it is without knowing one roll number...I don't know what policy is there in your country..to furnishing the result..But disclosing one result openly is not good..because if one student get bad marks and it openly said in public...he/she felt very embrassing..and may be he can take wrong step because of it...

I absolutely agree with this. Just top 3 and leave the rest. It saves the others from the embarassment you know. Some respect for others please.

i think the result of any exam tells you where you stand. Also it can be a tool of self-assessment. So displaying the result will help everyone get to know their ranking. But at the same time, it shouldn't be a cause of shame for anyone. So i feel displaying the result only with a roll no. Or giving results individually with relative ranking is a good idea.
