Which do you prefer; experiencing a one time pain of normal spontaneous delivery or delivery through cesarean section?
In normal delivery it is true that laboring woman is experiencing extreme pain. However after the baby is out relief is at once. In Cesarean on the other hand lets you deliver your baby without experiencing pain but the disadvantage is that the wound healing will take you from one to three months.

I gave birth with Cesarean due to a medical reasons. But that was what I wanted too. What I've been heard was that giving birth by Cesarean is with little pain and the most difficult thing in it is when you have to stand up from the bed. Well, in my case that was totally not true. The pain in the first hours after the operation was just incredible. The anaesthetic from the operation expired and the new one still didn't worked. My uterus was cut and contracting. Standing up from the bed was just a game comparing to that pain. But I recovered fast - I started to care for the baby only by myself from the 2nd day after that.

Basically during a CS. spinal anesthesia is introduced. Then after ten (10) minutes the operation should start. It is advised that after the procedure the patient must be flat on bed for 6 hour to prevent severe headache. Then must ambulate once stable.

Mostly mothers prefer a normal delivery.
But because of so many tremendous changes we are facing in life due to stress, tiredness and what not and these days many are undergoing for cesarean only.
But again everything depends on the
Gynecologist -they are the best judges for the delivery.
We desire so many thing but the final decision comes from the doctor.

I would prefer normal delivery. I don't like the cesarean even when I was a kid! well, my mother and my aunts had normal deliveries and they survived it so I know I can do it.

I don't think of it as a matter of my preference, it's a matter of what, in the doctor's opinion, is better for the health of the baby.
