What do you think about Lady Gaga and her scandalous behavior?

Few days ago I watched the new Lady Gaga's music video "Telephone" with Beyonce Knowles. I wasn't impressed at all! She is got just one thing in her mind when released her new video, to be as provocative as possible. This video clip was banned in some countries for it's controversial content. For the first few days online it has recieved many millions of views. May be a lot of teenagers are interested to see all these half naked women kissing each other and if she is SHE, HE or BOTH. I bet this is the case for most of the views.
Why the people are so hungry for such things? I guess "Bread and Circuses" is what they need, like it's said by the Roman politicians in their plan to win the votes of the poor.
Madonna did it in the 80s, now is time for Lady Gaga to follow her in this obviously winning
way to the top of the showbusiness. Did she manage to keep the interest of the fans or she will disappear like many others in the past? We will see what is going to happen in the next couple of years.

It's just a show. More controversial content - more curiosity - more popularity - more sales - more money. It's just about this.

In showbiz you need to make a splash if you want to get noticed. Controversial or not is out of the question. The goal for an artist to be successful is to blow things up out of proportion. In an industry teeming with talents, it's very hard for a newbie to be recognized if not noticed at all. Lady Gaga is a new comer and it would not have been possible if she did not come up with her own packaging. Although, i would not let my kids see her videos, they love her songs. If Lady Gaga succeeded in catching the attention of my 3 and 5 year old kids means she's really good in what she is doing. I'm sure her fame now will not last forever, but to this generation Lady Gaga has already succeeded in making her name rise at the same level as all those successful singers there. She just have to keep coming up with new concepts if she wants to stay on top.
