I fully agree with you infact nowadays everything for celebrities is publicity and d only add a feather in their cap. There are some actresses for whom movies are made just because they have a not so good publicity and are branded in negative roles.

I definitely think so. Grossip and rumors and scandals keep some celebrities' names in forefront of people's minds and attention. Unfortunately we're in that timeframe where actors and actresses can be forgotten in a heartbeat. Being the "it" actor can no longer prolong your career for at least two or three years. You have to have a way to keep people remembering who you are- whether its intentional or not. As the saying go, there's no such thing as bad publicity.
