Don't get me wrong, I love music all types of music doesn't matter but what I can't stand is hearing music all day. Ever visited a friends house and every time you visit its just some music always playing in the background. Or you live with someone that constantly needs to listen to tunes all day even while asleep. I'm not sure if I'm the only one that feels this way.

I like to always have something that plays in the background most especially if I am alone. But sometimes I also like a little peace. So it really depends on my mood. I remember my grandmother used to scold me when I was younger because I was like listening to music all day.

That is the strange thing because now that i remember when I was younger I use to play music loud and regularly and my mother would just shout saying " Turn that noise down" and suddenly I got into a mode of just wanting to hear it strictly when in the mood. I think what adds to my dislike of constant music is maybe the music out today is just not good at all.

I rarely have music on at home, and never when I'm on the internet. When I do have it on, I am actively listening to it, not just having it there for something to vibrate my eardrums while doing something else.

I'm really a moody person so on good days, I wouldn't mind as long as it's not ear-busting, but there are certain days where I'd love to have peaceful and quite moments. Classic songs with mellow rhythms won't irritate me though, but sometimes they become boring. It just really depends on the mood I'm in.

Me too I have my moments I'm moody, and if I'm in one of those moods then yes I may suddenly put on something relaxing but music without words, but then to much slow and mellow may start boring me as well. So I can listen to a few minutes of it but just cant sit at home and have tunes as background noise even when moody.

i love music but not all day long . when i am in the midst of discussion , music is a no no. when i am writing my papers or reading the newspaper, i just dont want to have the music on. music on is alright when i am doing my washing or gardening and even cooking. there is a time to listen to and appreciate music when i go to a musical. i only listen to selected music.

when women rant its also like that, i cant stand their rantings. i dont know if ranting provoked excess music or excess music catalyzed rantings. well it may have advantages. for example, your late with going to the office, instead of traffic you say, my neighbors have loud music at night and I feel weak when I walk up and slow with my movements so I got late. now theres another alibi!
