I am trying to quit smoking. I can't do many of the things that I used to because of smoking. I love to hike and run, but now I don't get very far before i have to stop so I can huff and puff for a few minutes! I really can't afford any of the products offered to help quit smoking, so I think I am going to gradually smoke less and less.
Does anyone have any tips for quitting or anything?? Any responses will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Smart kid. Besides, I'm pretty sure at your age in every state it's illegal anyways...just one more hassle of smoking. I curse the first day I ever picked on of those blasted things up, I hate it and wish I had quit YEARS ago. I wish it WAS illegal when I started, might have kept me away from them. Anyway, good for you hon...best of luck and remember, it will be a LOT easier now than it will even a year from now.

Well, I'm not a smoker and I really have no idea how to help you there, no suggestion that could really be effective. I just think it's a combination of will power and determination. If you do succeed though, please inform me how because I would want to suggest your method, if ever, to my brothers and friends who smoke a lot. Thank you and good luck!

Good for you! :) Thats very brave and you will feel much much better after it all.
I quit a while back and all I have to say is set yourself some goals. If you have a reason to quit thats stronger than yourself than you can. I suggestmaking a list including your children (if you hav any) the activities you want to do again, your health, etc, etc. You might even want to add other peoples health as second hand smoke and such for an extra kick. And whenever you look at this list dont let yourself make excuses as to why its okay for that. Stay strong!!!
