have you ever felt this bad feeling to waste all your money in sill*y things?
sometimes we dont pay attention about this taking care to have money for the tomorrow.. have you ever had this situation and you need money to buy real things and you dont know how and where find it?
sometimes happens myself, for example, the other day i went with friends to a dance club and we waste money there, and also, the other day i went i went to shopping and i bought a lot of things, and now, that i really need the money to buy books for the university, i dont have it! also, i need to go to the dentist and i dont have too! hahaha, i guess im going to ask my father if he would lend me money to buy this things! hahah i wish he didnt say me "noT" hahaha
whats about you? could you tell me some experience you have had it in the past?

well it happened to me when i was in America, but now i'm livin in other part of the world so i have to be careful to pay everything, uni ,food, if i i want to go out i have to pay it from my pocket. About shopping i don't shop in UK because it is extremly expensive for me because my parents send me the money in dollars. So yes it happened to me all the time in american Malls haha , specially if i go to Malls of 200's stores.

yes, i can understand you, when i went outside my country, i went to the shopping mall and i buy a lot of things, for example, t-shirts, shirts, skirts, dresses, bags, udnerwear, and more, and im sure that in some things i just wasted my money!
i started buying because were more cheaper than here, but im sure i wasted a lot of money, so i didnt realized about this, and i waste a lot..
i know that life economy in others countries are more expensive than others, so we must pay attention to administrate our money, more if we arent in our country!
im trying to put a little money apart of my pourse just to use in emergencies when i really need it, and i wish i would keep away if im going to catch this to spend in silly things.
thanks for sharing with me your experience! and have a nice day! and of course, good luck with your wallet! haha

Well, I try t not waste money to often since it is rare that I have any to waste. But before i spend any I try to make sure all that I pay for the things I need to first then if any is left then maybe use it to do something special. But things happen..just have to roll with it and try to be better at managing next time. parents will be more willing to loan if they feel they will be paid back even if in small payments.

I like to save and get more expensive things because they last longer and they are of better quality. I think I spent on stuff I don't use, but it's pretty useful stuff

I was afriad I would in such a situation too, when my credit bills is coming the end of this month.
It is a good idea to look for parents' help. And the personal financial management is really nessery. Like me, I think hold a part of summary for emergency will be better. I am really tired of this kind of fear from bills!

yes, i can understand you.. sometimes i feel that i would ask them to lend me some money, but sometimes i feel ashamed and i coudnt ask them because i feel that im wasting a lot of money and if i ask more times, perhaps they would cut the benefit, so i ask them just in emergencies, like to go to the dentist..
i really like the idea to have a little money apart f the money i use everyday, because this would me save in an emergency.. for example, if my parents arent at home and i really need the money to do something or to buy something important.
thanks for sharing with me your experience! have a nice day

You are lucky you have a father, and also lucky that he cares for you and can afford to give you money. If I blow money and don't have enough for the important things, I end up suffering. If I need money for the dentist, no one can help me but myself. I grew up poor and my family is still poor. It teaches you to become very independent. Word to the wise, start thinking smart and put your priorities in perspective. It may not sound like much fun, but you will feel more independent and find less need to distract yourself with buying things that don't really matter when you think about it.
I have had to pay $1600 on dental in the past 6mos. because I don't have proper enamel on my teeth. It's an inherited thing. dentalplansdotcom

well yeah I waste a lot of my money on cars etc etc
but I only ever spend on silly things money I could afford to loose, and always saved it's not the wasting the money thats the problem its wasting money that you can't afford to waste which is the issue.
If you spend money that you can afford to spend on silly things then that's fine, but if its your scenario where you now need to borrow money that's a slippery road into debt very very very fast

Yes, i have a really big problem with saving money. I have a hard time finding out what i NEED to buy instead of what i WANT to buy. I have always had this problem. But now that I have chosen what career field that I want to go into , i know HAVE to save up money for college. SO that I can pursue my goals.

It's never happened to me. I always take care of where i spend my money and what i need to buy that's more important.
Although this one incident happened where i went for shopping with my sister and when we were coming home we realized all our money has been spent and none of us knew of what. So we sat in the cab calculating what we spent it on. I opened my bag to look at the bills and i found that we hadn't actually spent it all but like always i had put half the money at some other place and forgotten that i had put it there!!! :D So i actually saved some of the money i had brought for shopping. hehehe!!

Alilin,I've been there and done that.lol.I know what you are talking about and it's a very unpleasant situation. But you know what I use to do?I was "hiding money" away from me.Sounds wierd but it works :D.Once in a while when i got separated money in pockets ,wallet and other places I just leave it "spreaded around",because when i go out I just grab the wallet and leave. On those black days i start to search the pockets, all over the house and end up with an amount of money enough to help me out pass tru that bad phase.

It happen to me before when I was still in College. That was when I go out with my friends then when i am drunk, I usually turn into being a spender. After that I will guilty and angry to myself for doing so. But through the years I was able to understand how to handle money.
I guess I would say to you "Good Luck" and hope your father will say yes. I know your father will, just keep asking him and if he ask why then be honest and tell him everything. God bless

Ive wasted all my money before,. In fact I do it often. Lately Ive been thinking about what I want and giving myself some time before spending money on it because then the decision is better thoughtout and I dont do sprees and spontanious purchases. I once bought a couch that didnt even match my house. My issue is that Im a bit of a shopaholic but without teh budget to support it. I havent gone t far into debt before because I use cash most of the time but still..it sucks,

I wasted all my money on Abercrombie clothes. I hate myself.
I wanted to be beautiful and i believed when i wore abercrombie clothes,
i would be god hamn beautiful and everyone would be jealous about me.
But it's not. It's all the way you look at it. It made me just as anyone else,
a commercial dol with no personal style. Now i have to wear them,
but i don't feel me. I'm so ashamed. I made a terrible mistake.
Jeans, tops, Sweaters, hoodies, i bought it. And what? No one else cares how that i look! And all that i just found out today, and i hate myself now. :(

Hi Alilin,
Ya, I've been guilty of doing this in the past. I imagine that we all have overspent at some time or another. I've learned to be more careful and make sure that I at least have the things that we need. I still buy things sometimes that I later wish I hadn't because it would be better to have the money for something else but not too often. hope your dad is able to help you out with the money this time. Maybe he could give you some budgeting tips also. Good luck.

I haven't thought like that when I think about my money. I always think a lot before spending money for a small thing. My father has wasted some money as a part of my sister's admission. He bribed somebody for geting admission, but the person took the money, and didn't help with the admission. In that case, I felt that my father could have enquired more about the person. Anyway, we can't avoid some things.

yup, i do experience that stuff... sometimes,, when your enjoying and you forgot about important ones.. you just spend the money, without thinking and hesitation.. I hope i had a someone.. who would tell me to spend my money wisely.. because of so many temptation today,, i can resist to have some them even if its given me a headache after a while..
I really need to control myself..especially when it comes to money..

That has happened to me before, and I regretted it later, as I found it hard to come up wit the money to pay the bills. Believe me, I kicked myself that I had done it, as I just didn't figure out what I needed first for the bills, so I ended up using it when I shouldn't have. Well, after that, I really learned my lesson, and I never spend frivolously after that, as I realized, the little money I did have, would have to go for my bills. Now that I am caught up on my bills pretty much, I have a little more to spend, but I still think it is wise that I don't blow it, on thing I don't need, and I don't intend to blow it at all. I weant to save my money up to see how far I can go with it, as you never know when an emergency would come up. I will still buy once in a while, but I make sure I have money to pay my bills first, then spend what is left. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

for all of us sometimes for happy moments we all spend more times of our money just to get by on the road not knowing we wasted money for doing so..
