Tricks, lies, deception, why not a charming smile, maybe a trick .... and everything is allowed when you want something really bad?
I have a work mate who has this theory, she do anything, well ..she not steal or kill, but she do any trick to refrain something, what she wants very much.
And it seems that she going well, she got a promotion, she has a husband who loves her very much, her children are great, and she built her dream house ... then what I think is good, for she is right?
In life it is not better to be too moral? is better to do tricks, sometimes to lie, may you cheat ... just to get out of life what you want?
I miss something? is something i do not understand very well? maybe i don t understand well art of compromise?

Hi, Ice!
If I had to lie or manipulate to get something, I wouldn't want it, no matter what it was!
We all have to live with ourselves, and I don't think people who will do anything to get what they want can do that very comfortably. After all, their own example shows them they can't really trust anyone or relax with their own consciences!

Sometimes it seems that way, but Karma always catches up! At least people like us can look in the mirror without wincing!

I am a fighter, and if I put something in my head, to be sure I fight for what I make every effort to get what I want, what helps me make my life better.
But never cross the good sense limits , so I will not lie, cheat, or steal to get from life what I can only do what is allowed, nothing more, but I insist,.

It does seem unfair to the moral person that the liar and cheat wind up with more goodies but at what cost? This woman may seem to have it all...or she may really have it all...but she doesn't have something very important that money cannot buy. She doesn't have good character and, unfortunately, she's probably passing that on to those great kids.

I think maybe your friend paints her life in pretty colours for the outside world.
She uses elaboration to get what she wants after all so why wouldn't she use it to make it seem like she has everything to all outside of her family too?
Its a bit like my late brother in law, he was what my husband calls Jammy(lucky against all the odds) ,he always used to find massively under priced things and buy them and put them right and sell them for a huge profit.
His holidays were expensive.
His house was fantastic.
Etc.
But after he passed away, it was revealed that he was quite an embellisher of the truth.
We already knew he was really but to others,he looked like a successful person who could talk his way into anything.

hello,i think both you and your friend are right.there is no definite right answer to this question.in my view, not to hurt others in order to pursue better life.to do tricks is not good, but when the trick is good for friendship or for good relitionship,i think it is nessicery.sometimes we feel we miss something.we should say yes,we miss the passion to life.do not suspet,do not hesitate.everything is waiting for you.
