1. The discussions are classified into 3 categories - new questions, hot topics (which are are sometimes controversial) and brain busters (discussions/questions with no replies for a week). Usually, most people have an opinion on hot topics. 2. You can start a discussion, but you will not earn any point, till someone replies to the discussion. Many users are of the opinion that answering questions in the "not answered" section will earn you more money. 3. Instead of wasting time watching TV, if you spend 2-3 hours daily on mylot, you can earn 100 points everyday. This is equivalent to U$1-$8 daily, just for expressing your opinion!

Man dont think about money,Once you will feel to respond to a particular discussion just respond,when you feel public opinion,suggestions post a new discussion.Mylot is a place to share your thoughts,experience in life etc.Not the quick rich plan to make money............

i havent yet picked up the best techniques i guess ive been earning pretty good though

Well, I am trying to learn what works the best here for me. I think a lot of it, is finding what works best for you, and to keep doing it. I make ok with this site the days I work it. I also make some of my Referals and pictures. I just have never figured out what does the best... I feel it you work the site each day things Good will come from it.

I'm still not sure, but I feel that uploading pictures is more paid, my posts are nearly 500, made 46.84, and my pictures are about 120, made $3.15,so it's fair to say that picture could make more money?!
