Do you study everynight when you were a still studying?

When i was still a student, i remembered that i usually spend my time study most of the time. I seldom want to involved in any outdoor activities that my friends always reminds me not to become bookworm....Well, actually, i am not a bookworm, just i like to spend my time reading novels when i finished my assignments and studies. Besides that, i also spend time upgrade my internet knowledge and chatting with my other friends. That's why they seldom see me going out from my home, when i am back from school.

Yes I did..it became my advantage against my classmates..and helped me to be prepared on surprise quizzes and recitations-that was when I'm in primary level=)

When I was a student I don't usually study everynight. I would only do my studying when my teacher will give an exam the next day especially during the major examinations. I can say that it's not a good study habit since you'll have to undergo all the cramming stuff. As of now I don't have kids yet. But when I would have one maybe I would try to encourage them to practice and maintain a good study habit but not to the point of forcing them to do it. However, I could try giving them some options that would persuade them to study well.

When I was still in college, I only study when I have an exam coming up or a report to do, I always do my assignments and I could say that I was a good student, well the normal/regular one. I was on top as well and felt really good about it, I mean I don't study as hard as other students did but I still managed to get really good grades and made it to the top students. I don't have a kid yet but someday in the near future i will. Anyway, if my son/daughter won't like to study then I'll make something up to make it enjoyable, like probably give him prize when he/she gets high scores and grades, well that's what my parents did to encourage me to study and it worked for me.

I don't study at night time nor anytime. I only listen to my teacher. A little note-taking will do. I am an average student who aims only to pass subjects. But good thing, I have had loads of good grades. LOL. I wonder why.?

yes i study every night. i always go to sleep after a 3 hours study minimum, without that i can't sleep.it's like a habit to me for around 6 years.now o am studying in a software track and i don't have a pc .but i try to to manage by studying a lot. and sometimes i have to take care of my brother's study too.any way i am not unhappy at all for that, as i feel it as a recreation.

Well, i know i don't have Einstein brain, so I really did work hard aka study almost everyday to get good grade. Maybe not up all night, but certainly at least one hour a night. My kids still in elementary, id does take at least an hour to do their homework. But I'm not sure how's her style when she hit hight school or college.

NAh, i'm not so hardworking when i'm still a student!! lol =D I will not study overnight, not matter how major the exams are gonna be.. lol =D Luckily, my parents have always been pressuring me to start preparing early, and thus i never have the problem of studying overnight.. hehe ^_^ As for work assignmnents, i will tend to drag and wait, but never too late to go beyond my favourite sleeping hours.. haha =D

I study every night, and I liked doing assignments. I know a lot of people who doesn't have study habits, and I mean it really depends on how you were brought up. I don't have a kid yet, though when I do, I think I would require him to study even for atleast 1 to 2 hours a day instead of just playing games or talking to friends.

When I was a student I did not study every night,I got used to study night before my exams, quizzes and orals. But I was determined to learn even if it was already an 11th hour or last minute study.And fortunately, I had good grades then, though I wasn't always on top of everything but I made sure I was not the lowest one. It was my motivation to never be the lowest in class. Now that I have kids and my eldest is already a student at 4 yr old, I don't pressure him to do things like to let him study every night. Every after school it is already part of my daily routine to check his assignment notebook for pointers then if there are no assignments or scheduled quizzes then he is free to do things like playing pc games, watching cartoon movies or playing toys. I give him his own space and time to explore things on his own and never deprived him to do the things he loves to do as a kid, so as not to suppress his mind of creating his own ideas. I don't set high expectations for them to act gracefully, so far, he gave me very good grades, and I always give him the best compliments...:)

no not really. i do if i have an assignment but im not really a studier. Im a reader just before the test type person and i do well that way. I will study if im falling behind or soemthing but not really.

dont force him, if he's not ready to study give him some more time. young guys don't know the importance yet of studying, he'll find out soon if he hass to redo that class dont worry. i was just like him but im in college now and passed my first half year (dont know correct word sorry)

I am still a student, and don't have son or daughter, I am sorry for that I can't share any experiences like your situations. However, I can make a brief introduce for my study habits. During my elementary ,middle school,and high school days, I did study everynight besides the regular study in day time, while during my college days, I sometime did study at night, in many cases, I didn't study, because I have many other things to do at night, such as making friends and going out for parties. and now I am a postgraduate student, I didn't do study at all at night, I usually feel very tired for my regular study in daytime. For you son, it will be better for you to have more patience to talk to him, telling him how to arrange study time, and how to finish assignments efficiently.

Ever since I started school, I always study every night. There were just so many assignments that it really didn't give me a choice. My grandparents raise and my grandmother was really hand-on in terms of school. She makes sure that I always study and be top of the class. Most kids though do not like to study, so it's a bit of a challenge. I think it would be good to have a reward system. Like if he gets good grades, he will get a new toy or will go somewhere fun, in that way he will be able to study once he thinks of his prize.

for me i do study every night but for now in my colleges i am just mingling around not serious because i take it easy for studying and i got more relaxing moments..

Hi Carrine, Yes. i always review my lessons, do my assignments and prepare for the lesson the next day. i am a good student hehehehe and graduated with flying honors. i am so focus with my studies and really love studying. i am challenged with oral recitations and love long quizzes.

hi carrine you gotto be kidding me---I used to complete my assignments every day without fail in my schooling.Coming to my college days i used to be awake all night for preparation of the exams and i continued that until last year and i was comfortable doing that---however i used to bunk my college for complete my syllabus.great day.
