Happy Spring to my fellow mylotters. Last Tuesday I saw my first Robin of the season. Here in Ohio when we see the Robins come back we know spring is here. Sure we might still have some cold and snow but it won't stick around for too long. My mom and I were together when we saw the Robins looking for worms. She had asked if I knew if all the states in the USA had Robins. I didn't know the answer, I figured I could ask all of you. Do you have Robins where you live? Also do other countries have Robins? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks and enjoy spring. Its really enjoyable after a cold long winter.

Someone near me told me they saw robins looking for worms in the grass the other day, a sure sign spring is here! We live in Michigan and yes we have robins. Howdy neighbor in Ohio!
Happy spring to you as well. Soon it will be time for the flowers to begin.

I heard that nasty rumor too. At least we know it won't stick around too long. My daughter in law did some raking today, she uncovered some blooming panseys from last year. Yipeee, its so nice to finally have some springtime. Tomorrow is supposed to be another beautiful day, enjoy it while we can.

Gee, I haven't seen any robins yet, but I'm sure spring is truly on it's way! Today all of our snow is melted and I noticed that there were crocus all over the lawn blooming, and that the daffodils were just about an inch up. Yea!!!! As you know, I'm on the opposite side of Ohio from you, in the snowbelt area. I'll have to keep an eye on following posts 'cause I'm just as curious as you whether there are robins in other parts of the world. Happy spring too to you and your Mom!!

Thanks Joy, Spring has sprung, Yipee. I love Spring, its such a pretty, happy time. Its so nice to be able to get outside without having a coat on. Its even nicer to see the snow gone. We had alot of snow in Feb, for us. I can't imagine how it is to live in a snowbelt area, not for me. When I would get whinning about the snow, I would remind myself it could be worse, we could be getting dumped on like others have been. Last week I saw some early flowers blooming too. I did some raking today, my hostas are poking up. Take care and enjoy the warmer weather while it last, we still can have a few winter like days yet.

It's just wonderful to hear from you seems like a long time.
Well as far as Robins go for their own good glad they're no where to be found yet. It snowed today off and on all day. I will be so happy to be able to put my winter boots away for the winter.

I've been around, although it does seem like a long time. I've been spending lots of time with ebay, gotta make some money, I am sorta out of it, and them darn bills keep coming in the mail. Can't find me nobody with money in their pockets. They are either short broke and a dumb a$$ or they are the bone guy, he is no help neither. Do you get Robins up where you live? Last week was warm and sunny, now its back to cold and cloudy, but at least it won't last. Take care.

I haven't seen any robins yet this year. Thought I saw a Mrs Robin today, but it might have been a sparrow.
Everything you want to know about them can be found on Wikipedia:

Hi, Polly. I know we are neighbors so this probably won't come as much of a surprise to you, but here in Michigan we have robins. They're so cute. I'm happy now when I hear birds chirping in the trees. My coworker friend and I went outside for a walk today since it was in the 50s, and we heard little baby birds chirping high up in the trees. We tried to sneak a peak at them, but they were up too high. It's really nice getting outside and enjoying the fresh air now. You know the true sign it's spring, though, right? Garage sales! (LOL) No, but really, it's nice to hear birds chirping again. They've all come back to enjoy a beautiful spring and summer with us!
