what "hot" to you?

To all the ladies here in mylot, i want to raise this question to you. What's your own definition of a "hot" guy. I really wonder because there are guys that are not good looking but they have all the gorgeous ladies. I recall having a friend in college, the guy's not good looking but all his girl friends are lookers. He's got a good voice though and plays the guitar well. So i wonder if the ladies look at the face at all.

Because they that's what they like deal with it, and whatever there are so many girls that if one dislikes you another will like you, girls are not to be generalized, they are unique persons just like man are, believe it or not, I actually never give thought about acting in a way or picking up girls, but they come to me anyway, so what's the big morale here ?
Be yourself man, fearless, confident, not a wimp !
And someone here said that Japanese girls like effeminate guys, some does it's true, but most of them like strong guys, ever since the era of samurai, they were considered to be very sexy, power and danger is asociated with sexiness trust that !
don't be so sure of what you think you know dude, unless you life in Japan !

Why tall? Why no one likes the short guys? I would (maybe) fit the other things, but being tall is a bit under work...
WHY? WHY? WHYYYYYY? Why do women like tall men, but not short. I am not short (at least I think so), but not tall neither. Every boy on my class are 10-20cm taller than me.

Well yeah... I have a quite fat friend (he's not fat but he has a quite big stomach though) who get's women easier than anyone else on our class... It's maybe he's personality, but it too is quite bad. I think that it's because he always teases girls/women/females and they seem to like it. I'm more like the guy on the back, but I have got some women too.
P.S. I am not a woman.

I think women get attracted more to the guys personality than the looks. In my opinion, it's self confidence that women get attracted to. If we compare a not so good looking guy who has self confidence against a a good looking guy who is shy. The not so good looking guy would most likely get the girls more easily. Ever since time immemorial its the men who are chasing women, women who chase men are just exceptions. So no matter how good looking you are if you just sit there and do nothing then nothing will happen.

I agree, but his personality (of my friend), isn't so good. He does tease girls all the time though, and that's one thing that makes him "attractable", but all the other things; Physical side, fitness and stuff like that are quite lame. He doesn't get good or even acceptable grades in school and smokes some times. I think that that's what the girls/young women want from boys/young men these days. To be "cool". I do think that the none smoking thing will be one of the top things that women want in a certain age, because smoking smells bad, and the cloths start to smell too.

I don't know how "good" looking I am, because it's hard to tell from myself, but I would say that no. It's maybe because I'm not tall=I'm kinda short...

Handsoem and hot are two different things, when it comes to boys. According to me a boy who has a fit body is hot. There are cute looking guys with good features and good color, but they wont' be hot. A guy with long legs is hot, according to me. I have a friend who says that a guy with the body shape like 'V' is sexy. A guy with a sharp nose is also sexy.

I guess your right. based on most of the answers i got in this discussion, you are the first one to mention above the term "handsome". I would have to agree to you because there are a lot of men who are handsome but it ends there. Someone hot to me means someone who attracts.

My definition of a "hot" guy would have to do more with the personality than anything else. Good looking guys are nice to "check out" when they pass you by on the street. But to me a really hot guy would be someone who has a good heart and can converse with me on varied topics. Now that to me is really "hot"

A lot of my friends think I'm weird, but I do NOT find muscle-y, athletic guys attractive. I much prefer tall and skinny guys- that is my own personal definition of hot, lol.
I think personality matters a lot more to girls (as opposed to qualities guys look for in girls), and sensitivity is an aspect a lot of girls find attractive.

You're not alone. I fit your description, at 5'9'' i'm tall by my country's standard although i'm skinny. I even consulted by wife so i can go to a gym and build muscles, but guess what? she won't let me because muscle-y guys scare her. It's her impression that muscled men can easily beat women.

Hmm it's interesting, I always wanted to know what do girls find attractive about me, I think girls like confidence allot, yea, I seen that many times, they like a man who controls the situations, for example I was just dating a girl at a sport place, and some dudes were in our spot, so when I talked to them like I do, a bit harsh, I seen a sudden change in her eyes, and that happen more than one time, whenever I'm with a girl and I take bold action or approach things with confidence, I see a good feedback in their looks, I don't know if it's true, but that's my experience, oh yea and physically ... girls likes to touch abs, it feels to them as if they are touching a source of power, that's what she said really!!!
they like high angle faces that expresses toughness, or they like gentle faces, usually younger girls like the gentle rounder faces, and older woman likes the angled faces, they want to feel a sense of power and security in the man, while younger girls wanna see that round shape, that expresses gentleness and young age, they can relate to that yea.
That's my experiences and thoughts, may not be accurate, but it's honest.

The definition of what is hot to women varies. There's more focus on the physical for the younger ones and slowly goes to the intellect as they get older. I guess this apply also to men. There's now way we can come up with term hot as this varies depending on the state of mind of the woman.

A "hot" to me is someone that just by seeing him, he really turns me on! He has a different charisma and whatever he does has a big impact to me. It's indescribable, he's like a fantasy.

I recall a girl telling me when i was in college that my eyes are beautiful. If that's the case i could be "hot" too 
. Well, i was clueless then, and that was more than a decade ago. But you just added a new perspective of how a woman define what is "hot" in men. I guess, there's really no single description.

ybong007 hi It is terrific personality my friend. My hubby was not ugly but he could always make me smile and laugh, and warm my heart with his personality. A good voice and a talent also help and my hubby loved people. He was v ery outgoing, a real extrovert while I was a shy introvert so I guess something about me attracted him, and we sort of complimented each other, we made each other sort of whole. I am a widow now but was married for 43 years.

i think most, (not all) do not care about the looks. but then my one daughter says she does, although she did think my late hubby was the best guy. maybe it comes from getting to know them and recognising other traits more important then looks. with me its always been 2 very important things. i think intelligence plays a big factor with me. ive been known to think the nerdy genius types are hot! also, i love a guy thats funny. i prefer Jim Carey to Brad pitt!

Well, being hot is something subjective at all. Not 2 people are attracted to the same type of guy. It's not that people don't look at the face, but that the same face is not the same in 2 different pairs of eyes.
About me, a good combination of face and body is important so I can call a dude hot, and of course, no fat and little muscle

It really depends on where those balbons are located magtibaygom. If its in the chest area, it's great... if it start in the navel down ward, it's good. But if its all over your body like in your shoulders and even in the back then that's not really good to look at at all, or at least as far as i'm concerned. But i can't speak in behalf of the women, lets ask them if they find a man "hot" if he got hair all over his body.

"Hot" to me is someone who has talent inside and out. Someone who's not afraid to show who he is, or what he does. If he looks good then thats a bonus! If he's not, then chances are he's a good man anyway! And a woman who notices him, I guarantee he'll make her happy. You really don't have to have to look like a major hunk to have a lady interested in you. :)
