IPL 3 - Injured Players League?

hi friends.
[b]first the list of injured players.
1.ashish nehra
2.greame smith
3.dimitri mascarenas
4.MS Dhoni
5.Gautham Gambhir
6.yusuf pathan
7.jacob Oram
8.fill it yourself
so far 9 matches and we already got 4 players missing the whole season,MSD for 10 days elbow injury,gautham with hamstring strain which usually takes 2 weeks to heal,pathan with shoulder injury probably missing couple of matches.
i dont think IPL has got so many players injured within the first 1 week of the tournament and may be by the time the finals are played,you might get to see a half strength teams.
any reasons for injury considering this is the SHORTER for mat with only 3 hour game?
am i right to cal it the injured players league?[/b]

hello.. this all s a common thing, in world cup or in tournament it wont happen ah ? ?, why blaming IPL.. their involvement making them to suffer like this, this s not a 50-50 or test match to make them relax if they need, they going to play their part for one and half hour, in that anything ll happen,
Is oram and nehra injured in IPL??
IPL s a game,. see as a game dude...

The Bangalore coach touched upon it a bit. He said the constant traveling between matches is making it difficult for players to keep themselves fit. Once you come into a match without proper fitness small niggles suddenly snap and you go out injured. Though Dhoni's was a freakish injury, the rest could have been avoided. I hope we do have a cricket team to send to the T20 World Cup after IPL!!

What a name it sure is Injured Players League and now the senior Players who have retired are worrying about what will happen in the coming World Cop T20 if the injured players would be fit by then.
I really hope they are up and running and get us the T20 Worls Cup
