Listen to English pop songs Learn a wide range of vocabulary by reading English newspaper (online newspapers such as New York Times, msnbc.com, USAtoday...) Be confident and brave (better speak broken English for the first few months than having to speak like that for the rest of your life!) Practice makes perfect. (since perfect is impossible to achieve, make it near-perfect) If you are a gamer, get with your friends and chat on TeamSpeak. (It improves your in-game cooperation and your English as well!)

Practice will really help you a lot if you wanted to improve your skills. I am an online English teacher and I teach students by skype.
