As an eldest daughter, do you sometimes act like your mother?

Me as an eldest of my siblings and the only girl, I usually act as my mom whenever my mom is around or not.
Because sometimes my brothers don't want to listen to my mom and for me its not good and i want to discipline them and teach them to be a good son to our parents. And i can say this happen because my mom sometimes is not that strict when it comes to my brothers, and i don't see it as good example and I'm concern with regards to the attitude of my brothers and if my mom wont correct them I'll be the one to teach them.

Yes its natural, i m also sometimes act like mother though m only daughter but eldest child of my parent. Anyways u doing good job. nothing wrong in that and at the same time u take care of yourself too....

Yes I always act like my mom whenever they mom is around or not.Since I being the eldest daughter it is my responsibility to look after them and correct them whenever they are following the wrong path.My siblings they too respect and consider me as mom.They never go against my words and does whatever things I inform them to do.So I love my siblings very much....

In a way I still feel responsible for my younger sister. Even though we are adults now and have our own lives I still give her advice if she asks for it and try to get her to look at things from a different perspective. I was always very protective of her when we were children, but I guess that's just normal.

I always act like my mother in times that I really have to. I am as well the eldest and the only girl in the family. Whenever my parents are not around, my siblings have to follow me. They are my responsibility and if something happened to them I am the one to be blamed. I also love them as much as my mother does, so I always wanted the good, if it is not the best, for my beloved brothers.

yes, actually, i've realized for some time that i can be the EXACT copy of my mom, and it kind of bothers me because all i got is her bad side that i dislike. like you, when i discipline my brother, i sound just like my mom, and sometime i surprised myself because of that. guess an apple don't fall far from it's tree huh?

Ya ........i used to act like my mother and i am from a broken family and also i am the eldest daughter from my family .We were staying with our mother.Whenever she is out of time, its my responsibilities to look after my brothers and sisters and to control them from any bad things
