Hello everyone, Just want to get some opinion and advise where do you prefer to celebrate a b'day party..At home, restaurant or hotel..Expected would be about 20 or more guests. Some people would like to held their party at home and it less costly, just have somebody to cater the whole party but it seems exhausting. Some may have it in hotel or restaurant but it cost likely to be bit expensive than home celebration..Perhaps in the restaurant no obligations at all, just the whole reservations and food consumed.. Where do you think the practical and convenient venue for a party? I'd love to hear from you guys ..Your every opinion is much appreciated.. Thank you and Happy myLotting..

i hardly celebrate my birthdays anymore. just go to church and have a family-shared meal, no more guests and fanfare. but if you will attend my next birthday, which will be soon, i'll hold a party in my place or a nearby resort. have the usual servings and a few friends to share the milestone. my family, of course...

Personally I think that having a party at home is more acceptable provided you have the space for it. If we had large gatherings when I grew up they usually happened at my sister's next door. Celebrating with friends and family. That's the way I prefer it anyway. I don't like large crows in general. And, in the long run if you cut out the cost of labor then you save a lot of money.

If there are any schools with big swimming pools nearby, a poolparty for 20 people is just the thing. And you will stay clean the whole day or night. TATA.

Hi Cloud! I prefer to held birthday party at home, not too expensive. Now, it depends only on how you make it look so special, you prepare foods that are not usually prepared in most occasions, then design your table with anything you think that suits for the theme of your party. You can also set the party outside the house, maybe in the garden where there is a gazebo to place the table for foods. You don't have to spend too much money from your pocket; by being creative you can make your party a special one.

Hi ms.Cloud or mrs.cloud? :)) anyway for me the best venue is at home baby! less expensive plus more fun. Just like you said just have someone to cater the party. You can always rent a mobile bar its not that expensive, their cocktails are really good ya know :)

i have always been living in practicality and frugality. besides, i have do not have a lot of money to celebrate. but if the occasion cannot really be ignored, we will only celebrate at home. to get someone cater the party is a bit expensive for us, so restaurant and hotel is a no-no. if the celebration is going to be held at home, we will only strive for the best to prepare the foods with ourselves, to save the catering services.

Hi cloud. I'm having my baby's baptismal this april and it will be held at a restaurant. They have packages and true that it is hassle free because they would do all the arrangements that's needs to be done. If it would be for 30 or more guest I think it would only be practical to go on reservations than at home. Not unless you will hire a caterer or something and the home would be able accomodate the number of guests then why not :)

i like it at home. and then just hire my aunt's friend who has a catering service. since if its only a few family and friends i'd rather do it in my house so that they don't need to go elsewhere and be lost or tired if the venue is too far.

Hello cloud! I suggest celebrate it in hotel,no more obligations after the whole event,no messy house and no dirt to manage lol.It might cost you a bit higher but its more convenient to manage people with the help of hotel assistance. Keep smiling cloud!

practical venue would be the house. convenient would be the resto. hotel would be a very good venue but pretty much expensive. but what the heck, if you got the money for it why not. if your visitors are only 20 or so, that wouldn't be much exhausting if you celebrate at home. the budget you will use in the resto if used on the house, you will have a whole lot of good foods and stuffs. and the ambiance at your home is much different than that in a resto or hotel where you tend to get formal. hope to have contributed. good day cloud31.

Hi cloud Depends on the budget, I suggest for that number of guests you held it in a hotel,I'm sure you will be very tired if you will do it at home, its the crowd will make you tired and after the party, you will still have yourself to tidy up the home and it will be more tiring. Take care always! All the best!

The practical and convenient venue for a party is at home because you don't have to pay for the place but as you said its a little bit exhausting and that's true. So I would suggest, celebrate party at restaurant. All you have to do is pay for foods. Just choose a restaurant that you know that could offer affordable foods and good quality service.

I think it is better at home, though a bit tired, but to make a perfect party, tired of the some time you will be very pleased and happy, is not it? If outside, har or something where everyone can feel at home happy?it is a waste, want to consider...

The convenient is on the restaurant where you will don't mind the washing of plates and the keeping and cleaning of things and appliances used. Even if it is expensive it saves your time and effort. The only thing you do is to invite your friends on the celebration and tell to them the venue and that's it. You also will talk to the organizer of the celebration for your party. it exhausting at home, for sure there are many or family members that will help you but it is costly of time and effort. I don't want to look drag when the event is a near hour. Of course i want my guest to see the happiness in my eyes.

I suggest a hotel for the b'day celebration ... U will have a special attention if u are celebrating it in a hotel.. If it's a small day preparation, u can do it in ur home, but if u wanna make it grand u should consider atleast a 3 star rated hotel which will be a little bit expensive than the home.. If u are doing in the home, u have to arrange the house, cleaning, and decoration will be a big thing and ordering of cake and food distribution to the guests, it will take a long work business, and u have to do these things before 2 days.. So if u are booking a hotel , u have no work , just go and enjoy the party with ur guests, because the whole works will be done by the hotel itself, thats why i always suggest a hotel..
