How many hours do you let your child watch tv?

I just let my daughter watching tv maybe 3-4 hrs, but its not straight coz I put her a nap at 1 pm then I play her dvd preschooler site words instead the regular show only in the tv, so right now she knows how to read some words,numbers, and alphabets. I think its pretty good for 28 month's old!

hi, i don't have kids yet. i am still single but i do like you way on letting your daughter watch educational dvd and in limited time. I will keep the discipline in a child and will not cause their eyes to have visual problems just make them watch few feet away from the TV too. I remember when i was young my mom also let us watch 3 to 4 hours the most also cause she want us to also be active and not just get stuck on television.
One day when i have a child of my own would train this way too. its good and balance.
