I went through a stage in my life that I really didn't watch any movies, but lately I've been watching a lot of movies, both in the theater and also from DVD. I'm looking for some more good movies to watch. I'd like to hear what movies that you recommend and why. I'll start by recommending Remember Me which just came out last weekend. It is a really good movie, but I will caution you that if you don't like to cry while watching a movie then this definitely is not the movie for you.

There are a lot of great movies out there. Not sure what your interests in movies are or if you are only talking about recent or older movies. I love movies I am only going to name a few cause I can come up with a long list. Reasons for these picks just great stories , performances. Marvin's Room Bobby ( great movie and anybody who is anybody is in it.) Unforgiven Titanic Finding Nemo Monsters Inc Into The Wild In And Out Life As A House (Kevin Kline it may life is a house you can check on netflix been awhile since I seen it but great movie.) Marley & Me You know I am probably going to think of more later but these were some of the first ones that popped in my head. There is also another one and I can't remember the title again been years since I seen it. It stars David Ducoveny( X-files actor) & Carroll O Connor. I just remembered it Return To Me great movie if you never saw it. Enjoy if I come up with more I can pass them along.

I loved "Into the Wild," "Marley and Me," and "Life as a House" although the last one can be a bit corny. Still worth seeing! Good recommendations.

My daughter got Marley and Me for Christmas this year, but I've yet to watch it with her. She took it to her grandma's house and watched it with grandma last time she spent the night up there with them. I really like that you included so many family friendly movies in your list.

That was just right off the top of my head. It would have been a lot longer if I put a lot of thought into. For Into The Wild did you see the extras and saw how much the actor looked like the real person? For the one you thought was a little corny did you mean Return To Me or Life As A House? I love Kevin Kline he is one of the few who is great in anything. I really love actors and actresses that can play anything and are so believable. Most movies I wait for DVD I also enjoy watching all of the extras they are interesting. Thanks

I recommend a movie I recently watched with Brittney Murphy called,"The Ramen Girl." It is so awesome, and how can you go wrong with a movie about making noodles? Also recommend another great Ramen Western,"Tampopo."

George Clooney made a very good Batman he just had a bad story line. I have to agree with Howard The Duck. I think it came out not long after ET. Man talk about a disappointment. ET was so cute and a great movie. Then came Howard the Dud. Didn't see any of the others.

I can't say that I've heard of that one before. However, just from the little bit that you've shared it sounds like it could be interesting.

Oh, I wanted to see Valentine's Day in the theater, but I never had an opportunity to go see it. So, I'll definitely be getting it when it comes out on DVD because I'm a huge Julia Roberts fan.

I am a housewife and all I do is watch movies. I would have asked you to watch some good indian movies but the problem is that you would not understand Hindi and I do not think the subtitles would do a proper justification in understanding the true essence of the movie. If you do want to watch some Indian movies just let me know and I will pass on the Movie names. I would surely see the movie you have recommended and I can guarantee you that I will surely cry coz I am quite an emotional person and even if I see a movie a number of times I still cry during the emotional part. Just yesterday I saw a movie "While you were sleeping". If you have not seen it I would recommend it as it is a really good movie and I loved it.

Right now I've got a list pretty long of American movies to watch, but I will keep this in mind in the future. It's been a long time since I've seen "While you were Sleeping" I'll have to get it again to watch because you are right, it is a good movie.

TV critics are sometimes a bit unfair. I have seen some incredible stories and learned some really valuable lessons from watching TV. Recently I have seen some stories on the telly that I enjoyed totally. Here's a short list: Gosford Park...set in a British countryside...it involves murder, mystery and folly. At times it made me laugh, at other times I was angry but it was definitely entertaining and I think it captured how the affluent segment of that society lived. Inkheart...a wonderful fantasy about a man with a very unusual gift. Temple Grandin...a visual biography about the life and accomplishment of an autistic girl/woman, whom the doctors had given up on. Felon...a story about a man who was jailed for protecting his home during a robbery. This was very disturbing, distressful and demeaning...but it painted a picture of life in prison that I wasn't aware of. Angels and Demons...controversal, but nonetheless interesting. Well, I don't know what type of movie's you prefer, but this covers a wide range. Hope this helps...8o)

I really enjoyed "Angels and Demons" as well. For anyone who has been to Rome or wants to go, this is a great movie to see for the scenery alone!

We love watching movies, but we don't go to theaters too often. We usually don't have the time or money. We do rent a lot of videos though. I might see Remember Me when it comes out on video because I do like Robert Pattinson.. I'm a huge Twilight fan! We watched Did You Hear About The Morgans last night.. it was a good movie, I'd recommend it.

Over the past 10 years I can count on one hand how many movies I've seen in theaters... okay, maybe 2 hands. I've seen all the Harry Potter movies in theaters, and the 3 Pirates of the Carribbean movies.... oh, and I just remembered we saw the Lord Of The Rings movies in theaters too. See, they have to be epic for us to go to the theater to see it. I did not see either of the Twilight movies in theaters.. I've actually only just read the books and I'm finally just now interested in it. I downloaded New Moon a few weeks ago, and rented Twilight twice. I will probably see Eclipse in theaters though. That will be out in June.

Before these last few months it has actually been quite some time since I've been to a theater. Prior to the three movies that I've seen in the last three months, it was November when I saw New Moon and before that it was January of last year when I took my daughter to see Hotel for Dogs.

Well, I have only seriously become interested in dvds recently when I subscribed to the website lovefilm.com. There is one movie that I can think of that I would really recommend you see and that is 'The Hurt Locker'. I don't know if you have seen this yet but it was a wonderful movie, quite gripping and all about this American forces soldier that has to disarm roadside bombs! It gives you a good incite into the real work they do and how they constantly put their lives on the line in order to save others. I loved this movie and I intend on watching it again at some point. As I told another person, I honestly had not heard of The Hurt Locker until it won the Oscar the other day. Since then I've been interested to see it and I also know that it is something that my husband would watch with me. Thank you for the suggestion.

I liked My Sister's Keeper okay, the thing that I wasn't thrilled about with the movie is that the ending was so much different than the book, which I read before I watched the movie. However, it was a good movie none the less.

The headlining actor in Remember Me is Robert Pattinson (better known as Edward Cullen from the Twilight Saga). It was really interesting to see him in a role that was different from the one that I'm accustommed to seeing him in.

I heard rumors they were making a sequel called My Best Friend's Divorce but nothing ever came of it. I still think he should have married Julia they were really cute together. Another good movie to cry at.

Well, I haven' watch remember me yet. Or maybe, I'm not just a fan of movies. For me, it is just a waste of time 'cause you have to stay there for hours. But sometimes, I do watch movies, if it fits upon my taste. I've watched A Walk to Remember,oh, it really touched me. It's all about unconditional love of a guy to girl sick with leukemia...Another movie that I won't forget is the Message In a Bottle. Although these two movies are already old, but still I love it although it made me cry...

No worries about the late response, I think we've all done it every now and then. When you ask about what kind of movies I like, I really like a little bit of everything. There really isn't one type of movie that I always stick to.

I love movies, but I don't always have time to watch them or go to the movies. The two recent movies I saw on DVD that I would recommend are "The Hurt Locker," which deserved its Oscar for best picture, and another little sleeper with Robert de Niro called "Everyone's Fine." The first, as you probably know is about a bomb squad operating in Iraq. What is so amazing about the movie is how the director takes you right into the heart of the action, as though you were a soldier on duty with the bomb squad. "Everyone's Fine" is a story of a family who recently lost their mother (De Niro is the father), and De Niro decides to go and visit each of his children because they can't find the time to come and see him. It's a sweet simple film that's worth renting. I don't think it got much attention when it was at the theater.

What is really odd to say is that I had not heard of The Hurt Locker until it won the Oscar for best picture. However, since it won the Oscar, it is something that I really want to see. I didn't even know much about what it was about until I heard a talkshow host on the radio talking about it.
