Do you think Chel & Manu depend too much on Drogba & Roone for the scoresheet?

Hi zatak,
Manchester United definitely rely on Wayne Rooney to score goals for them. There is no other player who can replace him for the time being. Barbetov can not score a goal even without goalkeeper between the post. Micheal Owen is out because of injury. Without Rooney, it is hard for Manchester United. They will rely on their midfielder to score the goals if Rooney is not available or being mark continuously.
Chelsea, on the other hand, has an option in Anelka. He might not score as many as Drogba because he is more to play supporting role while Drogba is around. When Drogba went to African Nations of Cup last January, Anelka shown thet Chelsea can rely on him to score goals.

Yes, Drogba and Rooney are the chief goal scorers for the two teams respectively. And they are world class players so they are going to be the chief scorers for their teams. But you are right, ever since Ronaldo and Tevez moved on, Rooney has had to shoulder most of the goal scoring responsibility for Man United. As far as Chelsea are concerned, the load is a bit more even with Anelka also contributing at least against the smaller clubs. Against bigger clubs in the bigger matches he tends to go missing and the onus is on Drogba to score the goals.
Cheers!
Ram

No...I dont think that they are dependent on rooney and drogba. It's all about the position of the players in this game...the reason is chelsea and manu have top class mid and forward players...they are also the reason for the best finishes of drogba and rooney....
