My professor have a project for me to do,Its about interviewing a cancer patient. It's very hard for me to see cancer patient here so i guess online would be easy. So if you have a relative, friends that has cancer please tell such story about them like history of the patient? How they can cope up with that kind of disease? What are some changes in their lives? In food that their eating? what are some medications given by doctor? What is really a specific condition of the patient right now? something like that. hope you guys can help. I know cancer is such a difficult and long life disease but there are many who survives.

I 2002 I found out that I had prostate cancer. The news was devastating. I had a bad psa results so the doctor told me to go for a biopsy (yuk). I may on my side and the doctor shot(literally) something into my prostate for a sample. He did this numbers times. The nurse called later on and said that I had the bad form of prostate cancer. I was devestated. The nurse refused to say more, saying that I had to make an appointment with the doctor (urologist). It took several weeks to get in to see him. In the meantime, I had to get sleeping medicine from my family doctor just to sleep because I was so worried about the results. I did research on Curezone. The doctor said that the cancer was still enclosed inside of the prostate and that I had a choice of either getting the operation or radiation to get rid of the prostate. I choise radiation. My feet were placed to sturps like a lady having a baby and the doctor shot radiation pettlets (about the size of a large grian of rice) into my prostate. After eight years my psa is now at ,3, which i am told is good.

Hi Ayebelle, I think this is not the right venue friend for such interview or sharing. your professor wouold like you to have a feel and experience the real interview with a cancer patient. there are information that is not for public consumption and i won't advise that we do it here. loet's respect the privacy of the person we know not unless we have a mylot friend here who has cancer and is willing to share her experience over mylot and take this as an opprotunity to advocate for each prevention. for now you need to coordinate with hospital and go through the process before getting the GO SIGNAL from the cancer patient to be interviwed. in this way you will have a good grasp of your report and will surely understand well the what they are going through! goodluck friend!

I have an auntie who suffered from colon cancer (stage 2) way back early 2000. She was immediately scheduled for surgery, and then administered with intravenous chemotherapy on a monthly basis. Prior to having diagnosed of cancer, her diet were mostly fatty foods like fried chicken or braised beef. After her surgery, she was advised to change diet and she followed the regimen given by the doctor and her nutritionist. She was advised of the potential recurrence of her disease if she will not change lifestyle and diet. Afraid of the recurrence, she now consume less meat, but mostly fruits and vegetables only. She's also taking regular glass of carrot juice, and sometimes when carrots are expensive to buy, she took tomato juice as an alternative. Since we are in network marketing distributing natural food supplements good in fighting cancer cells like Reishi Mushroom, we also recommended them to her. So far, so good, and with God's help, it's already ten years since then, no recurrence of her disease. She's now healthy, alive and kicking! :D
