Do You Think Tiger Woods Will Win?

A couple of days ago it was announced that Tiger Woods is planning to return to golf next month. The news program that I was watching this on invited the viewers to send their blog and comment on whether they felt Tiger Woods will win the tournament. First of all, I got really tired, really fast at seeing his own personal category on the scroll at the bottom of ESPN2. Every other sport like - soccer, oly, tennis and golf were all labeled as such. Just because Woods had to be such a jerk, he got his own, special scroll called appropriately enough - Tiger. Then we all got to read the latest news on his life. What a joke. You get players like Mickleson and Els who, even though they have their faults, aren't the major screw up like Woods. The good guys all have to fit in the general category of golf. The guilty one gets a special spot. That made me sick. You all probably know where I'm going with this by now. I'll answer my own question. Do I think Tiger Woods will win? As far as I'm concerned, he'll never win in my book. He'll always be a loser. Anyone who puts his or her family through the kind of thing that he did never deserves to be labeled a winner in any category of life. If he ends up with the lowest score in the tournament, many will call that winning. I don't. When in the world are people going to learn? O.K. I've vented. Now it's your turn.

I am really a fan of Tiger Woods. I really admire his golf skills and hoping to become just like him one day... in golf of course. There is a possibilty that he can win. I don't really care about his family or anything. I care about his golf skills. I have to admit, I was shocked to what he did but people make mistakes. It can't be helped. I don't know if he will we win, no one really knows but Tiger Woods is a great golfer. I just hope he'll do well. I admire many golfers and one of those golfers is Tiger Woods. Golfers such as Lorena Ochoa, Michelle Wie, Paula Creamer are just some of the female golfers that I also look up to.

I'm sure that many people look at Woods as you do - a golfer. That's fine. He may be very good at golf - that's fine too. You are right about people making mistakes. We all do, however I have to disagree when you say that the mistakes he made could not be helped. The mistakes of this magnitude that he commited should never occur. Unfortunately, they happen all the time. When people in the spotlight do stupid things like this, the media is all over it, after a while people get sick of hearing about it and then life goes on for them as though nothing were wrong. All is right in their world. I disagree with that too. Mistakes are O.K. if people learn from them. I don't see that happening nearly enough. I think some of these spoiled brats think it's their right to screw up because they seem to believe that everyone will forgive them. No one seems to want to take responsibility for their OWN lives and not repeat things that other people have done.

I don't think he will win. All the stress and pressure probably took him off his game. Even if he does win I don't believe anyone will be really cheering for him.

He is, after all, human. It may take him a while to get his 'game' back. I certainly won't be cheering for him. I'll probably be watching PBS.
