are you also on FaceBook? And how do you manage to do both? FaceBook requires me to learn yet another techno language. This Grandma is feeling older by the minute. Tell me I'm not the only one!

I prefer the more relaxed feeling of myLot. Face book is too "busy" for me - join this join that, play this, do that. I simply do not have the time to get really involved in all Facebook has to offer.

I hear that! It can gobble up huge chunks of time that would be better spent on something productive. I do like being more connected with my family, who all live out of state from me.

I don't have many family member left and the few that are still around prefer a phone call but I can see how it could be pretty good if you had a lot of family and friends in the States.

I use Facebook a lot more than I do Mylot. I'm on Facebook all of the time. It's a great way to keep in touch with friends and family! I feel like Mylot and Facebook are two totally different types of websites. I come to Mylot when I'm in the mood to discuss things, I visit Facebook when I want to check status' and see what my friends are up to or if I need to send one of them a message. There are great games to play on Facebook too but I don't participate in any of that part of Facebook!

Facebook is still somewhat unwieldy for me, but I'm learning slowly. I, too, really like being connected to my family and friends. I'm still a bit leary about having everyone as a friend. I ignore the ones I don't recognize. And I usually only post things to my friends or sometimes to friends of friends. I just don't feel comfortable letting the whole world know so much about me.

I go on Facebook as I have a lot of friends there and also my family is on it. In fact it was my daughter in law is the one who told me about one of apps there and got me started in it, so I will go there everyday, and check on my farm, and see who is on and maybe leave a comment or two. One thing about Facebook, is that it brings people together whom I haven't seen in ages, like my brother and his family. I am only on Facebook for a short time each day though, as I am here much more than there. I don't get paid for playing farmville, but it is fun. So is mylot, and I am enjoying my time here immensely, and I hope to be here for years to come. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I'm trying to learn about Farmville. I can't figure out why it says I have over two thousand coins but says I don't have enough to make a ten coin purchase! Yep, I like the connection to family in friends.

Good idea to keep them both up at the same time and go back and forth. Maybe my crops won't wither if I'm there more often.

Yes. I pull up mylot and when I think I'm getting too saturated with the discussions, I just switch to another window -- which is facebook. I enjoy playing games.

Maybe you can give me some farming tips! So far I've lost the strawberry crop and can't seem to accumulate enough coins to buy much of anything.
