hello voldrox,
Uhmnn...i don't believed in ghosts, but bad spirits do exists.
I rather try the adventures with friends...and,to make it more exciting,i guess, watching horror movies can add more fun.
Yeah...if given chances to stay a night at any famous haunted house,i would suggest a dvd player and horror cd movies to watch the whole night(lolzzz)
A video cam to record the event, and of course foods

hi jaiho,
i would not carry a cd of horror movies please it would add to the fun, just don't want to be excess lol, anyways it would awesome if there was a fireplace in there, we would light it up and gather around talking about ghosts and stuffs while playing cards, wow that could be fun.
Watching scary movies there would scare us already lol, but nonetheless it could be quite exciting if we did that, i don't know if ghosts exists or not and don't want to believe either, anyways... have a nice day friend.

hi jaiho,
yes having faith in God can protect us from them, i have had a weird experience one night sleeping and i felt something was holding my hand well i had started a discussion on that, it was really scary but then i prayed to the Lord to get it away what ever that was, and soon i got relieved of it, it was really a very weird experience, i don't know why i felt like something was holding my right hand, but what ever that was it slowly faded away, all the while i was felt that pressure on my hand i could not move at all!
anyways

ghosts were just imaginary...results of playful minds.
Bad spirits do exists...it's all about evil.
So,having faith and believe in God,bad spirits can't harm you...

Hi voldrox !
I lived three years in an haunted house : I heard footsteps and slamming doors in all the rooms. I was really afraid the first time I heard somebody walking in my bedroom during the night, but I never saw anybody. After a few months I was accustomed to my ghost and sleeping like a baby.
So
1) Yes, I enter alone
2) my toothbrush and my pajamas
3) I tried with no result
4) Let me sleep quietly please
5) I can show you the one I rented : it's abandoned now
Frankly, it's not exciting at all

oh wow, really?
i can't think of myself in your position now lol, who else used to live with you, used to live there alone? i could not have stayed there, i just can't if i hear footsteps and doors slamming .. how much time did it take you to get friendly with what used to happen? it sounds so scary...
i am sure i would not want stay in such a place for long, it would be like i intervened but hey i have had never experienced something like this before, so umm i would interested to know if ghosts really do exist. but i am pretty sure if i get to experience something like that a lot of things would come into my mind.

It happened 25 years ago, and I was alone. The owner said me it was haunted when I rented it, but I did not believe at ghosts at this moment. The first time I heard him walking in my bedroom, I was in this house since three weeks. I heard him once or twice a month after that. I tried to take photos, and to put flour in a stair he was using with no results. But I recorded sounds a night he was making a lot of noise in the kitchen, and they are real. After 6 months, I was not careful of him.
My colleagues were laughing about 'my' ghost : I invited six of them for a week-end, and by luck, he slammed two times the closed door of a bedroom where two of them where sleeping the first night : 4 lived in the morning, and never laughed of 'my' ghost after this night.
I have not heard any ghost since I leaved this house.

topffer that sounds quite interesting, you rented a house knowing there were rumours about the place, and you got to experience something that would make some of us freak, and you got used to it too. it is hard to believe your story too but the way you say your colleagues got to experience something when they stayed, wow, it would be so interesting but in that case i don't want to spend the night over there, and alone? noway! lol, and you left the place, i guess no one took it after you left it, interesting to go through, thanks for sharing topffer..

Hmm.. not particularly a house.. Its our school.. It is really pretty creepy at night.. I've been to the oldest building at night alone.. but I haven't seen a ghost.. Actually, I felt a presence when I was there during the day, not during the night.. haha.. that was kinda disappointing..

I think I won't be entering one on my own, I would go in a company of my friends. I would bring some warm clothes with me, lots of powerful flashlights, and a knife, just in case. I would also grab a camera, in case something strange is really going to take place there.
I think I have no haunted houses nearby and I've never been to one. I think it would be a very frightening experience and by the end of the night I would be happy to see the rays of the morning sun.
By the way, who is that drummer on your avatar?

Well, about my username...
Biomechanoids were actually fictional creatures in a crazy first person shooter game, Serious Sam. I liked that game very much and I find that word "Biomechanoid" looks actually quite cool, so that's why I chose to have it as my username.
Believe it or not, but that's what I thought when I first saw your avatar! These moves and headbanging are actually very characteristic for Zac Farro, he often plays like that.
Anyway, have a great day and happy myLotting!:)

hi Biomechanoid, may i ask you what made you put such a username? sounds quite um scientific, something like a cyborg lol, anyways....
yeah it would fun to catch something on the video camera, i would sure be scared to the bone if i happen to see something that my brain could not decipher, it could be nasty out there, and yeah fun anyway, i mean if we only get to hear unintelligible noises, we could wonder if that was something related to the rumours of the house, it could be fun but at the same time there are reasons it could be actually be something we wished we hadn't thought of at the first place.
oh that drummer avatar, that is Zac Farro of 'Paramore' .. i wish i could have an animated avatar of Gavin Harrison or 'porcupine tree' he is my favourite drummer!

I've been to a few building that are reported as haunted. Alone as a security guard (12 hour nightshifts in the dark), and with other persons specifically looking for some paranormal happening. Nothing happened...
I believe that if someone wants to have a strange experience then they really will. It has been proved time and again that a persons personal disposition is the single most relevant factor in any paranormal / extraterrestrial 'event'. Simply, people believe exactly what they want to believe regardless of evidence or logic. You just can't stop someone interested in ghosts from believing in them, no matter how much backed up scientific evidence and logical reasoning you present. They'll write it off in a heartbeat as in effect, their desire to believe these occurrences is a more powerful influence on them than higher brain reasoning.
Sad in my opinion, bit of a wasted life chasing fairy tales and not facing grief and your own mortality.
Just my opinion :]

hi enterthehole, nicely said, yes what you have written here i have to agree with that, it's like some people are quite imaginative and to some of them it might actually seem like something is there even though it's just their head messing up with them, and hey i guess you would have seen 'the haunted' in discovery channel sometime, it's also due to the added effects of the electromagnetic radiations which can help hallucinate a little bit, yeah that adds a lot i guess, most of the findings show that the claimed haunted houses has had lot more dose of electromagnetic radiation from somewhere, i just don't know what to say about such places, although it would be quite interesting to spend a night and feel what the neighbours talk about so much mhmm.. anyways thanks for sharing, appreciated...

Hi pujileksana,
Thanks for responding to one of my very old discussions. We don't know whether ghosts really exist or not and i don't think they do. Even then, sometimes our minds play games in our heads and we tend to believe that something weird might actually be out there when you hear sounds you think the wind or rats can't make. Just imagine yourself in one of the old abandoned houses where you happen to spend the night alone, and you happen to hear sounds which seem to be foot steps. I am sure anybody would be scared to hear that.

Hi, voldrox. I would carry my Bible and plenty of Holy Water too. I would make sure that we all had flameless candles. Three would do. And plenty of batteries too. A pendant to ward off the evil spirits is a must! I would go along with about 14 people that are very brave. I would also make sure that the Paranormal team is present too. I know that I won't be going in an haunted house all alone by myself, that is for sure.

Hello cream, happy new year. I am sorry for my ultra late reply!
Wow, those many people ? Yeah i would like a paranormal team to come along with my friends. I know it might be scary or we just might be scared of nothing in particular. Anyways, our imaginations run wild when it comes to something supernatural or paranormal. We start thinking of something that actually never existed in the first place. I would carry my bible too. Of all the things, the worst that could ever happen is to have the feeling of being followed by someone for years after staying at that haunted mansion.

1. Yes I would enter alone, it would be fun.
2. A sleeping bag, my pyjamas and a toothbrush.
3. I wouldn't really be bothered about a video camera.
4. Will I be able to sleep?
5. No, there isn't any near me.
6. No I haven't been to a place like that before I would like to maybe visit one sometime. Just to see what the experience is like.
I don't think I would get freaked out that easily but since I have never visited one I wouldn't know.

hi phoenix, it's going to be interesting to go out there with friends will it not? yeah but it could be quite scary if we happen to hear some noises and don't talk about seeing something! we sure want to see things over there, even though it scares us it does make us so curious, and what if upon coming back and watching the videos what if we see the camera caught glimpses of something that we could not see with our bare eyes .. it could be quite scary friend.

I think its not good to play with those kinds of elementals, first you might end up hurting yourself not physically but mentally. If its true that theres some ghosts in a place near your place and you go there just to have fun tendency you will be dragging these said spirits to your very own place. I believe this is something that you wont like at all ;)
