Nope, I like to mix up my passwords and have a different one for everything. I always tend to create a password that has some relation to the website or the topic of a website, and I always put the same combination of numbers at the end.
I have never had a problem with forgetting my password, nor do I have to worry about getting my password hacked because I know the passwords I choose are very secure

Good for you :D I personally wouldn't remember as many passwords as I register on websites.
Btw... Is that the Fallout boy from the Fallout game series? I love fallout 3 and I'm so gonna get Fallout: New Vegas.

Kennedy, I have the same strategy as yours. My password is basically the same for each site, but I'll also add a word relating to the website so that it'll be hard to guess. Sometimes I add numbers as well.
Here's what makes a password hard to break for those evil hackers:
Numbers-just stuff some numbers inside your password
Length-obvious reason
Special symbols-like !@#$%^&*()_+|
Special words-avoid using words from the dictionary, like change "goodpassword" to "goossword"
Don't use your birth date or telephone number...or your pet's name.
I don't fancy creating a password 16 characters long though. :D

I usually have same password with my online earning account because with all those bunch of site that I've joined, it would be very hard if I will make different password on each

Exactly! One choice would be to make your browser or OS to remember all the different passwords. It is still a lot easier when they are all the same password.

I use three passwords. One for sites that have direct access to my money, that of course would be the most difficult to guess. One is for sites like this one that allegedly will pay me money, but has no way to take money out of my accounts. Then I have my regular password for all the other sites where I distribute my worthless ideas.

I never used the same passwords for all of my accounts. I alwasy create a new one for each of them. Howerver I do belive I have used the same ones for one or two accounts. this is becase I have so many differnt accounts I have lost track of some of them. ones i have used before, but I try to use a diffent one each time for security reasons.

No I never use the same password twice. I have a notebook that has pages and pages of passwords in it and I usually have words in German, French or Scottish dialects.

No, I have 3-4 email accounts but all have different password. This is never recommended to have same passwords for more than one account. I have other online account other than an email and there as well I try to maintain different password. If we have same password and by mistake someone got one password, all the accounts may be misused. If I have different passwords may be other accounts are safe.
please do not have same or similar for all the accounts.

No. I have about 100 passwords for my many sites. Many of my passwords are the same with variations for example, I might have a friend's name but have the letters arranged differently mixed with numbers and symbols. So basically, I have about 10 names that are varied. (For example: Johnson1956, 19Johnson56, 19Johnson*56, John19son*56, etc.) There are so many combinations. I have my passwords copied down to make sure I know them.

no, i only maintained a certain root word. you know how the internet is full of scammers and you-know-who, ready to pounce on your emails and other sites with evil intentions. so, it is not practical to maintain one password for all your accounts. once one of your accounts gets breached, then all the other falls... you know what i mean...

I use difference password for every account I open, its for security reasons, we never know if one site share they user password to others, especially thats scam site. I usually write my password in a book every time I joint a site, so I won't forget about it. Its complicated but it makes me feel more secure.

I have a couple different passwords that I use variations of for everything... I wish I only had one so that I would always know what my password is, but every site seems to have different requirements for their passwords.

Hi, friend. As to my email account, I usually have the same password as it is much easier for me to remember. I keep a notepad on my pc with all the passwords recorded in it. But I use a different password for my credit card because the password for credit card is required to be no more than 6 numbers while there is no such requirement for email account.

hello everyone.. I normally have different passwords. I have a hard time remembering password as well since I often change them and there are some accounts I don't open for a long time. But I don't worry much because I would always set up a security question which really helps a lot if you forget your password:)

For accounts that I don't care if they might be hacked I use the same password.
For accounts such as ebay, paypal, etc. I use an complex algorithm created by a friend of mine, to create a random password, and then the password is encrypted with another complex algorithm that he made it also, and every encrypted password I use is stored on my mobile phone, HDD, my mp4 and on a stick storage device.
Even if someone will get the encrypted password, it's impossible to decrypt the complex algorithm, the only method remains, brute force, and since it's a complex password with no relevance to dictionary, they will have to brute force it about 100 years with tesla 900 cores :)
yay for safety precautions and technology !

Yes, I've used the same password for years. I use the same password because of the reasons you said. I made sure my password is really hard to figure out, starting by being in another language with numbers. I have many accounts and so far my password has been reliable.

Hello,siliguri.
I have chosen different password for my bank accounts, email boxes and forum and so on.But,now, I usually choose the same password in every account ,because Im pretty forgetful. Many times,I would meet many troubles because of forgetting password. I think many people keep the same password due to fearing to forget password.
