Ok, so I am getting married in two years. Horray. Yes I am starting to plan early, but that's just because I am so excited. What I would like to do is go away to a tropical island, and get married on the beach. I have been looking at many, many sites online and have found a few places that I may be interested in. I am looking for an all inclusive resort. So far I am leaning towards Jamaica. I am open to all suggestions and travel tips. Thank you in advance for helping me out. :)

Well first off, Congratulations. And second off... PLAN PLAN PLAN!!!!!!! I thought six months would be long enough to plan a smallish wedding and now I am down to the wire with just 3 weeks left and every thing is CRUNCHED!!!!! Another benifit of starting to plan early is you can save SOOOOOO much money by taking the time to shop around and even make your own things like flowers arrangments and centerpieces. I spent about 50-60 dollars total on all of my flowers and centerpeices. I went to my local flower shop and they wanted almost 600.00 for the same type of things. I used artifical flowers and made all of my boutineers(sp) and my bouquet as well as my brides maids flowers. If you need any ideas feel free to let me know. I am always happy to see people save money. And as a result of all of this I am now thinking of becoming a local wedding planner as my town doesn't have one.
Good luck and don't give up. Make it YOUR day.

First, have you considered who will be at and in your wedding? Are they going to be able to get there? I would call a travel agent and explain your plans, they can get you the best deals. Also ask for a group deal, that will be the cheapest way to go for everyone. The travel agent might even be able to get you some free stuff.

Check out the Half Moon resort. A friend of mine is going thorugh them to get married. They are only bringing 6 people with them though. They are getting a good deal, but I know they are getting caught by the residency requirement. Some islands require you to be a citizen for a certian amount of time before being able to get married there.

Wow, Good luck on finding place and I hope you have fun in your wedding. Have you ever thought about Cruse ship wedding? I know some will let you marry on their private island. You pay extra about $1,000 for the cost but everything will be ready for you.
