Do you think the hardest work is working with hands or with brain?

Work is commanded by God and fundamental law of human life, there is as such when there man. Therefore, immediately after human creation and elaboration of Eden, Genesis shows how man was put in this garden as it work, "And the Lord God took Adams to put in the garden of Eden to work it and guard it. And the Lord God commanded Adam, saying: Of every tree garden will eat. But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil do not eat, because the day that you eat of it, you die "(Genesis, II, 15-17).
I think that there we all have same believe that the duty of man is to work to have what to eat don t exist other way.
My question is,do you think that work with hands, physical labor is harder than intellectual work, work done with the brain?

Do you think that work with hands is more easier, what kind of work do you do? Intellectual work?
Please be more explicit, what arguments you have in what you say? Why intellectual work is more harder?

It's working with the brain...not only you will feel physically drain but also emotionally. With physical jobs, what hurts only is your body but with the brain works, you inner senses hurts too. You will feel headache and may become irritable. Also, brain work is more strenuous since you just can't do brain work, it is brain work plus physical labor at the same time which makes it more stressful.

Who work with hands, must to use brain too, if they don t use theirs brain they will plant poisonous plants, or rather to do what can only be destroyed.

I think working with the brain dear, if the work is hard you use your brain to make the work more easier.

I think both because We need both while we do work. And its very hard to work with one only i think it will be better if we use both my dear friend.

Hi there, i m agree with you, that if you make a hands work you need to use brain too...but intellectual work don t need strong body for work. Who you admire more?

hello marianne45,as for me i could say that it's almost the same,in my line of work as technical support representative,both my hands & brain are working at the same pace...while my brain is absorbing what my client's complains/problems are,it is already working on the solutions & my hands are already working/typing/researching for some possible answers/solutions.

Do not compare the work in the key words in computer, with work that makes a peasant in a field, in the sun, wind, in rain, talking about the manual work.
He use brain too, of course, but not like a teacher or as a engineer, who work in a office.
