I buy all my pudding mixes from Watkins. There flavors are much better thenthe stores. Once I ran out of lemon so I got a box in the store and it tasted so flat that I haven't bought any more.

I hope this receipe works for you. I have never made Butterscotch pudding.
3/4 cup brownsugar
1/3 cup flour or 3tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
In saucepan, combine sugar, flour, and salt: gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir over medium heat till mixture boils. Cook 2 minutes longer; remove from heat. Stir small amount hot mixture into yolks; return to hot mixture; cook and stir 2 minutes. Remove from heat; Add butter, vanilla; cool to room temperature. Refrigerate till ready to serve.

You are welcome. It shouldn't be to hard to make, just remember not to use high heat as that will scorch the milk and sugar. Let me know how it comes out for you!
