Is Obama doing well?

Before voting last election you knew for yourself that putting your vote to Obama will bring a new hope to America. Is it worth it?

I didn't vote for him and I have yet to see what exactly has he done? I know he talked a lot and thought of a cute simple phrase everyone got wrapped up in. The troops are still in a war he kept saying they will be coming home. Which now he said won't be until around his re-election wow what are the odds of that? To me he is like all the others will say whatever people want to hear to get elected and nothing comes of it. It also bothered me all of his late show vists after he was elected. This country has a lot of problems and no reason for him to be hanging out with Jay and Dave. He reminded me of a car salesman that will sell you a lemon and make it sound like a BMW. Never cared for him and am interested in this discussion to see if he has done anything but talk a good game. My nickname for him is Slick Willie. The only one I have hope in is Jesus Christ and His word is something I very much believe in. Sorry I am hoping we will have a new president in the next election and something will finally get done.

I disagree and have to say that he's doing the best he can with what he has to work with. Let's not forget that the very things he's being faulted for were objectives put into place well before his term. Second, why are we focusing our anger at The President...when to pull out of the war in both Afghanastan and Iraq right now would cause another Vietnam...where we were left footing the bill rebuilding the country and they ended up split anyway. Besides we can't afford it!!! Let's not forget that these corporations are selling you the people out for more money more money more money!!!! We are in debt and instead of putting a rein on these greedy corporations and banks...the very folks voted in office by the people for the people are being paid off to keep Capitalism...a system doomed to fail...in place. This again was set up before Obama was in office. The insurance companies, banks and oil companies are running rampant over the rights of the very people they depend on for profits....We The People. All they care about is their bottom line, regardless of the affects on humans and the environment. And you're upset that the new President showed up on a TV show to connect with people??? Wow. Ok, since President Obama is the cause and reason for all that ails us...what is your solution. What would you do in his position? How would you go about trying to unify a bi-partisan house?? How would you change our system for the better??
