i think that that could possibly be a cause of stress. i know that when you are stressed alot or too stressed out then your hair will turn white or grey. it is a common condition that anyone could get and that many people get even young people so it can be pretty hard to overcome stress. it is deffinatly a problem.

I believe it is well-documented that stress can aggravate conditions such as asthma and eczema, but you would probably know if you had eczema...
I have discovered that I can get very itchy when I get I have got very slightly wet or damp, sometimes in a light rain shower, but more commonly after sweating a little. The problem, I believe is caused when this sweat or rain evaporates. It may be that stress has induced sweat and the itchiness follows. My tips are as follows:
*wear fresh cool cotton next to your skin - rather than synthetic materials
*if you feel damp through sweat or rain or any other reason, have a real good soak in the bath or shower and let yourself drip-dry - as soon as you are dry have some fresh cotton garments to wear...

Yes, stress can cause your skin to itch even when there is no other irritant present. I had a case several months ago where the skin on my wrists and the backs of my hands itched uncontrollably and there was nothing wrong with my skin that I could see. I went to the doctor about it. She had me tested for thyroid disorder, because apparently that can cause skin itching. My thyroid tests came back fine, and the doctor diagnosed me with peripheral neuropathy- it basically means that the nerve endings are firing off and sending an itching signal for no good reason. It can be triggered by stress. In the wrists and hands, it can also be caused if your muscles and nerves are stressed due to excessive computer, use, etc. It's like a precursor to carpal tunnel. I think in my case it was a combination of stress and arm fatigue. I still get mild itching sensations in my wrists when I get stressed about something.

Yes. It makes me itchey for sure. I have an anxiety and nervous disorder that forces me to break out in hives and fly (in the fight or flight defence way) whenever I get nervous or enter into new situation that I dont like (such as school when I was younger and in High School). You may have something similar although not quitethe same. Do you get a rash-type thing?
I think you should see your doctor to find out exactly whats going on and how to fix it/work around it.
