Please be aware of a bogus Nutrilite promotion currently being
offered by phone
Calls have been reported in California, primarily in the Buena Park and Lakeview area, not associated with or approved by Nutrilite.
If you or anyone you know receives a call from someone stating he or she is a NUTRILITE® representative, calling to inform you that you have won a gift or an incentive over $1,000, please be aware this is not a company-endorsed offer. The caller requests that you will receive your gift if you send them a check for $130. Please do not participate in this offer. This program is NOT endorsed in any way by Nutrilite, The Center for Optimal Health, or by Amway.
Please contact Customer Support at 800-253-6500 with questions or to report a suspicious call.

I live in Cali, and I wasn't one of the people who fell for this. Then again, I do not answer any telemarketer calls because I know what they usually want, and I do not have the money for it.

You are very correct. It is becoming more and more common for scam artists to attempt to fool people either on the phone or online. I hope they catch these scammers.
