Mylot may be helping us pay for our bed

Neildc, I do have the bed. Also it's "our money" to pay each other back would be an insult!

It's okay neildc, I didn't mean for it to seem as if I was jumping your case. I know some couples view the money that comes in as separate, but my husband and I view the money as "ours" !

So you cut out things you see in magazines or draw things you have ideas of? That sounds like a neat idea. Putting it into a scrapbook seems nice too, and you can look back after you accomplished it too see how your first designs changed, and what you had found that matched perfectly with your vision. Memory Foam seems nice, my inlaws have the pillow top and it's real comfy, so I think my husband will be ecstatic about the pillow top. I laid on the memory foam one though and it was nice too.

That sounds like a great way to stay motivated ladybugmagic! I should think about doing something like that! Then when you purchase things they slowly come out of the book until it's empty! That would be an awesome feeling to have the house the way you want it and just perfect!

Thanks ComeCowgirl and PurpleTeddyBear. Eventually my dreams will come true. I will defy all the naysayers and hit it big on the internet and get all the stuff I want. I do cut out pics from magazines, catalogues, and the internet, because I want my house to be a freshbuild or a rebuild on a plot of land, and I want it to be just perfect, so I have the book to show the architect and contractors what they are in for. It will be modest, but I want it just right.

Oh he did! He's in there enjoying it now as he plays a video game and uses the laptop! It is definitely nice though! We've just got to put back the stuff we had in our night stand and the room would be back to semi-normalness. I'll have to take a picture sometime and upload it. I don't know when that will be though.

My favorite part of the headboard is the drawers. They are a nice touch. I know it's different for you but it does have nice space for all the things we want to put it on it.

Yeah it is definitely different and it is a nice touch,and it makes a good place to put things like magazines,I love you with all of my heart and soul.

Oh yes it is definitely very nice. We have it today, we're setting everything back on the headboard that we had on it before... except now we have more space and drawers, pretty nifty!

Sounds nifty! Drawers would sure be nice. Can't have too many of those. Glad it worked out for you!

Yes it may be a little but like you said it adds up to something. After all something must be bringing you back after so many posts! The bed is nice, the mattress is very comfortable. We'll go tomorrow to see if my husband likes it as well. I went my mother in law today. I'm learning how to drive and so she said she'd let me drive. We pulled into a mattress and furniture store and I said why don't we just check this place out! We didn't know it was there! It used to be a furniture place and they turned it back into one. I think that this bed will give us both a very comfortable and relaxing sleep. After such a long day at work, my husband really needs it!

Congratulations you lucky chit! LoL! I wish I could afford a new bed, but that will get on my "To Do List" once we get all moved in to our new place in the big city! Don't forget to put up a photo so we can see!

We got it today. Just made the bed up actually. It's nice, we've just got to put everything that we had to take out, back in our room. Maybe one day we'll take a picture of it and upload it to show everyone here.

I would shop around for both a kings size bed for you and your husband, and a prospective bunk bed for your two boys. They have bunk beds now that are both twin and full, the full size is at the bottom, the twin at the top. Good Luck Shopping Around!

Don't expect to get too much. I know that mylot won't pay enough to get a bed, not all in one month. Good Luck to you though! Hubby and I will go look at the bed tomorrow, he hasn't seen it yet as he wasn't with us when we went to look.

Oh well we haven't gotten it yet. We have to go in the morning, if my husband likes it then we'll get it. As for making a dent, I'd have to post a lot, but that's where member's like you come in! Yep, we have it now. It's nice, we just put the covers on it. It's a pillowtop reversible which means we can turn it every which way and FLIP IT! pretty nice!

For us this was a deal and we really wanted / needed something new. I know it can be expensive, this wasn't cheap but it was a great deal, and the delivery was free!

Nor Have I, I don't think I'd want to. I didn't shop online for the bed, but came home and got online to tell everyone here at mylot of the new purchase! Have a great day!

Yep we got it that Saturday. It's a really nice bed, very comfortable. I can sleep easily on it, in fact I've gone in there the past few mornings because I was cold and I'd lay snuggled in the covers and almost fall asleep. I think the bed before was about ten years old, but it'd broke and been fixed so we really did need a new one.

Oh hehe that part was mostly a joke. I know it'd be little contribution by all, and it'd really be my work that'd make the effort. It'd take forever if we waited for mylot though, we have the money and it's a nice bed, like I said just waiting for hubby to see it and see what he thinks.

We'll have to get it first, hubby still hasn't seen it yet as he was working when we stopped by, but he'll see it tomorrow and maybe will like it. Good Luck with your furniture shopping, hope you can find some good deals. The store we went to is basically kind of a small timey one.
