Do you guys usually turn on your cell phone over 24 hours?

Hi friends, I heared that it would be better if you turn off your cell phone once in a while, because machine just like people, they also need some rest.
I usually turn off my cell phone at night, on the one hand, I think it can last the life of my cell phone, on the other hand, I can't be interrupted by phone if someone call me when i am asleep.
what about you? do you also turn off you cell phone regularly.

truly agree with u, pilson, cell phone composed of electronic components will heat when there's current . so timely-turning off the phone is just like a break to we humans .
some one keep the cell phone on at night in case of any emergencies , and I think if there did have one ,even you have your phons off , you will be contacted via other ways , or very sooon after you turn on the machine .

I've never seen the need to turn off my phone. Actually, I should always have my phone on because my agents text me all the time with a lot of questions and I have to attend to that. Thankfully enough no one calls me while i'm asleep they only text. So i make sure that I have my phone off so i can get all their messages and i can respond to them as soon as i receive them. There might be a glitch in the provider's system that doesn't allow me to receive texts when my phone is off so I better have it on at all times.
