Do you think it is necessary to attend univeristy?

I am going to graduate from univeristy, but I realize that it is very hard for me to find a satisfying job, and now I doubt if it was a correct thing that I chose to enter univery after high school. you know, more and more graduate students from universities face a very large challege to find jobs as the ecomomic situation. So i think may be we didn't attend university, we would have more time to gain some social experience, this would help us improve our skills to earn livings. What do you think about it?
