I can so relate to this question. I've always wanted to write mystery novels but never had the time. I had a job with a lot of responsibility added on to the responsibility of raising a family and running a home. When I retired, I decided that would be a priority for me. It seemed that life kept getting in the way. So much so, that I had to re-examine whether or not I really wanted it. I decided that I did. When it gets tough, I think about my Aunt. When she was 87, she told me that she always wanted to play the piano but her parents insisted on her playing the violin. After she grew up, she had plenty of opportunities to learn to play if she wanted to but she didn't. I tried to convince her that she could take lessons even at 87. It didn't work. She passed away at the age of 92 and passed away without ever realizing her dream. I know that I don't want that to be me. When I exit this life, I want to do so without any regrets. One of my favorite quotes is from Les Brown, "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land in the stars." Good luck

What keeps me motivated? Hmm, my goal. Like in my situation, I want to earn more and reach $10 as soon as I can because I want to buy a book in the internet, but it seems tough to me sometimes, I motivate myself by always vising the site where the book can be bought, and I just think that I really need to buy this book no matter what!

My main motivator is God. I believe that I can accomplish anything with God with me. I have to honestly say that I get the strength from Him above and I just feel much better when I start my day just talking to Him. Even in my darkest hour I get to talk to Him and it adds hope and strength that everything will be better.

One of your aims ought to be to teach others how to remain motivated as well, especially when results abound in your life and situation. Note that when you begin at first it would not be straightforward but as you persist it becomes a means of life and sometimes folks simply see your actions and get motivated.
