Traditional to a point, and I say this because it will save you years and a world of heartache. Go on a lot of dates, kisses on the cheek are fine, no more than that for the first couple of dates and this is only if you really like the guy and the first date will tell you this, get to know him, really get to know who you are dating, and by that I mean ask questions "What does he like?", "Where does he like to go?", "What does he do for fun?", "What is his favorite color?", and just questions like that, make them casual, but do ask them, the more you know the better.
I am allergic to flowers, jewelery, and I like chocolate, but hate what does to my figure. I love tea and I am a pretty cheap dates (do not go fancy on me because it makes me very uncomfortable). The guy I like would know this about me. My boyfriend knows that I cannot have flowers or wear jewelery, so he never buys that stuff for me. He gets me books instead or Silver or Gold tickets for AMC because he knows that I love movies.
Yes, people should meet the parents within the third month of dating because their parents might not be what you expect. My boyfriend's family is highly dysfunctional and my family is "hard to explain". I met my boyfriend's mother, father, and mom's boyfriend. He met my mother, grandmother, and step-father. It was strange.

Like it the traditional way. Its way greater and romantic.
