I delivered through C-section, it was very complicated, I dont really want to have an incision but that was the only option i could get is the C-section, My due was supposed to be on Sept 3, 2009, but had undergone a C-section on Aug 9 due to pneumonia.

C-section here! She was big, weighing 7.8. My doctor asked me to have a trial labor, she thought i could handle it since im young and strong. I guess she was trying to save me from having c-section. She gave me a week more after my due but i really didnt felt laboring at all. I had no pains whatsover..
So i was overdue and when she got out she even fainted. Luckily doctors revived her immediately. Now she was healthy little girl of 4 yrs.

I had normal deliveries with both of my kids. With my oldest my water broke first, then the contractions hit. My husband and I rushed off to the hospital immediately after that. I was so terrified of giving birth that I actually tried to keep my baby from coming out (like that is really possible ). That all changed after the doctor mentioned the word "C-section". I was willing to cooperate after that. LOL Though my doctor did give me an episiotomy to help with the delivery, because at that point my baby's heart rate had started to slow down and he needed to come out NOW.
With my youngest the contractions hit first. That was around 3 in the morning. They were really slight at first. So slight in fact, that my husband and I agreed to wait until they got stronger before heading for the hospital. They had gotten pretty strong after a couple of hours went by, so I woke up my husband (yep, he'd been asleep LOL) and we headed for the hospital. By the time we got there I was 9 centimeters. And here my water hadn't even broken yet. Once I was in a hospital room the doctor decided to wait and see if it would break on it's own. So I ended up having to wait a couple of hours longer. That was fun, especially when the contractions were at their strongest and I wasn't allowed to push (although I did anyway because it was kind of impossible not to ). Once the doctor finally broke it, my baby was born 4 minutes later.
All in all it took about 5-6 hours with both of my babies to be born.

I also had a c-section. It was not my first choice but I never went into labor. I was two weeks late and they had to induce me. I was in labor for 12 hours when my son started to respond negatively to the medication keeping me in labor. At that time they gave me an option for a c-section but we decided to start up the medication again and try for as close to a natural birth as we could have. I was told labor could last another 12 hours because he just did not move down. I was 10 cm dilated and he finally started to come down but then went back up and that is when they rushed me to an emergency c-section. It was very scary but it was they way things where meant to be. At that point as long as I was going to have my baby and get him out safely that is all that mattered.

I have had seven children and all my pregnancies have been the natural way. Even though I have had two premature babies I never had to have a C-section. I don't envy ladies that had to have C-sections. I know how painful natural childbirth can be and could not even imagine the pain after a C-section. Just know that after all the pain, whether natural childbirth or C-section, you have a beautiful baby to take care of and the pain makes it all worth it.
Sincerely in Christ,
Leesa C.

First pregnancy was natural, second one was c-section. The second time it was twins and one of the babies was getting distressed. I didn't want a c-section, obviously, but this time it was necessary.

I gave birth through natural way. But before that i was near to undergo C-section too due to over due baby inside my womb. But the Doctor still gave me the chance to go to natural way. And from morning until 10:35 pm I gave birth to a baby girl. We prayed hard to God not to go C-section coz it cost so much. And thank to Him before the doctor's advice i finished but, still under him.

Hi there Your Cheeky Angel!
I gave birth through normal, painless delivery. It's normal but they gave me anesthesia so that when I have pushed the baby out and everything's okay, I can just fall asleep to save me from the pains of the other procedures.
My aunt also had her three daughters through C-section and I know how hard it is. It took her a lot longer to recover than I did. When I gave birth, all the other women in my ward also gave birth through C-section, all of them because of high blood pressure.
It's nice to hear that you are okay now, even though it really is complicated to give birth through C-section. I hope that you had recover quickly and congratulations with your baby.
