Mylot while working?

It is not ethical. If you are at work, you should do what you are supposed to do and not playing with your friends on mylot. TATA.

Its not wrong as long as it does not get in the way of what you are suppose to do. It becomes unethical, if you give it more priority and forget about all the things you should be doing at work.

I think it's definitely unethical. At work, we should be doing our jobs...

hahaha.. it's like using fb during work.. but more meaningful in a way.. nevertheless, when you work, i believe that you have to give your full attention... that is what you are paid for. but during free time or if there's nothign to do, i guess it wouldn't be bad to do such a thing... LOL

Well i wont do that at office. And at work, we need to be concentrate as that why we are paid. May be at free times, if we need a break at hectic work, we can take it as relaxation to do mylot. But other than that, i would say not at the work times!

It is really not ethical. I only do this during break time or after office hours since they allow you to use the computer but definitely not during work time.

You are right, it is not ethical. But I do it. My responsibilities at work is more reactive. My duties involve reacting to problems that arise, and to try to resolve them as quickly as possible. If everything is going great, it tends to be very boring for me. And the hours take too long. I'd even say that it'll drive you crazy just sitting around. That's why I do myLot. To keep my mind busy, and not get bored.

Hi friend, I agree with you. When you are working u should pay full attention to the work you are doing without getting distracted from work. Mylot interaction will surely distract from your work. I also don't think its ethical to use mylot or any social network during working/during office work/office jours.
