they are the one who sustains our needs, they are the one who gives us unconditional love-they are the so called "family". he is your inspiration, your night in shining armor, or the well known - LOVER. what if time comes that you must choose between both. are you willing to give up your happiness just to please others? or are you going to live with that man though your bloods are against to it? do you have the guts to do that? dwelling in a dictatorship kind of life is not easy, you have to do that and do this...

well I don't believe that I have to chose between my lover and my family. Of course true love will be developed only through time and in those times, i will make sure my family will like the guy that I love as well. Family will always be at your side, ready to support and care for you when you need it. Your lover is your lifetime partner that can do whatever your family can do for you.

If I ever face this type of situation I always choose my family because I cant live without my family and I cant stand against my parent's who love me a lot, I think no one can take the place of my family and my parent's so I think we should not compare it with other relationship.

Hello J,
Your question is really interesting, since I believe a lot of people have gone through the dilemma of having to choose between lover and family. It, I believe, is a case to case basis, and a measure of a person's morals, priorities, and strength of character. The answer to your question depends on different circumstances and reasons. Family may be wrong, but most of the time they are right. Blood is indeed thicker than water, but having a loved one is something different and something that can transcend blood bonds, if the love and the premise of holding together is right and strong.
