In my country, when we requested for additional portion of food, we have to pay, which I think is reasonable. But when we requested for less portion, we still pay the same price. Assuming that you are a small eater, you know that you can't finished the food portion served, would you request for a smaller portion but you still have to pay the same price? Now, you that you are yourself, a big/small eater. The place where you buy your meals, they will provide you additional portion without paying for more, so would you request for additional portion? And why?

I think it's quite reasonable. There must be a reasonable base price for those in food industry to make money. If everyone request for smaller portion and they offer lower cost, then they may not be able to sell all the food, resulting in both money loss and food wastage. For me, I would usually request for additional portion if it's free because I usually eat a lot to satisfy my stomach.

hi, thanks for sharing. I guess you got your point about the reason behind paying the same price even when we request for less. I personally is a big eater as well and when I go for this particular food known as roti prata, I will ask for 2nd serving of the curry gravy because the food vendor is very generous is giving us without cost and it taste nice.
