I thanked my mom after graduation. She is a single parent and she raised me and my brother on her own. My aunt helped us too. She gave us three our monthly allowance and my mom budgets it very well. So, I thanked my aunt too because technically, she really is the one who paid for my schooling. Every child should be grateful to his/her parents or any other people responsible for helping him/her go to school, graduate, and give him/her a brighter future.

i thanked my mom DURING my graduation day... when she was to give my award to me, i whispered my appreciation to her... i think the best gift to award to our parents on our graduation day, apart from being able to actually graduate, is to express our sincerest gratitude to them.. tell them that we appreciate the effort they made for us to receive education and be educated people...
thanks...!

Absolutely, I am all because of them. I thanked them with my big heart. They were so happy and were proud of me. They were always there to be my guide and because of them, I am here today so why not I thank my Mom and Dad. This is a good opportunity to learn additional lessons in gratitude and manners. This can be a great opportunity for a little more etiquette training. Even if the graduating student says "thank you" in person, a note should still be written. I gave my parents a wonderful cards saying Thanks A lot!!!
