The laziness of people now-a-days

When's the last time you've washed your car? For some people, it's never. Is it really right for us to pay others to do our work? It might make jobs, but hey, we should get a little done ourselves besides sit and play games. I haven't cooked a gourmet meal in over 3 months, it disappoints me, because I am so lazy that I won't even go to the grocery store to obtain the ingredients to make it. Please express your opinions and have fun myLotting!

When I lived in hawaii, I washed my car once a week. It was so beautiful outside that I loved being out. However, I am in northern california and it's always overcast. It's pretty ugly here and I really don't like going out. I can't even tell you the last time my car was washed.

Admittedly, I am that lazy! Specially about washing cars. My car's last washing was when I brought it to the dealership for its regular maintenance check up. Thankfully, they had complimentary car washes. The van hasn't been washed for a while. Not that I really care about it's appearance. I think the last time it was cleaned was just before fall last year.

Sorry about the double entry. Seems my internet connection is playing tricks on me.

It's true. I've been in a lot of pain lately and my Dr sent me to a physiotherapist who said all my troubles arise from inactivity. I guess that's a polite word for laziness. Basically I sit at the computer all day except to get up and get coffee. Over the past few years I have found myself doing less and less and now it's a huge effort to be active. I don'yt want to feel like this and the only person who can change things is me. I'm exercising every day now and trying to be more active as well. I swim and I do more strenuous chores than the dishes and laundry. I put more effort into what I do too.

Funny, this reminds me of a discussion I was thinking of doing. I read an editorial about over population and jobs and how there were maybe too many unnecessary jobs in this world. Anyway, I guess if other people want to do that work and you don't, why not pay them to do it? My husband really hates paying other people to do what he can do himself though.

First let me say, I don't sit and play games, but I haven't washed my vehicle in several months. For a while I was staying out in the country, with dirt roads, you'd have to wash it everyday to keep it clean. And since I just recently moved, I have been busy with that and just when I think I'm going to have time to take care of my vehicle, it rains again. I normally wash it about once a month. I don't mind doing it, but sometimes it's nice to take it to the carwash and let them wash and detail it.

I admit it I only wash my car about twice a year. We live down a dirt road and in the dry Spring and Summer to wash the car means it's only clean for a short time. In the Autunm and Winter it rains and that does the job for me. What wonderful excuses I have. I don't play games but I do mylot, this takes a lot of my time. Now it's garden planting time so things should improve enough to get me out of my computer chair.

I wouldn't say I'm lazy but washing my car has taken a back seat since having my 2nd child. I'm too busy being a taxi for my kids to have time to wash it not to mention all the other things that go with being a working mother x Have fun MrsL x x

During the winter months I can't be bothered washing the car because first of all its just to cold. Second of all its just not worth it with the weather. My son-in-law does it once a week and by the next day its dirty. Living in New Mexico with the dirt and sand blowing and then the unpredicable weather its not worth during the winter. Two days ago we had 67 degrees I woke up this morning to at least 3 inches of snow all over. Thank goodness its half way melting already.

I haven't washed my car in two months, but that's not because I'm lazy, it's because it's been wet and cold. I often pay people to do things, like wash my car, clean my house, etc., because I have other things to do with my time. Time is a precious commodity.
