Hi, mylotters!
I just want to share a great thing with you.
In my country there's a town called Veliko Tarnovo. There's the Tsarevec Kingdom. Tarnovo is actually my favorite town in Bulgaria. I feel really great when I'm there! I don't know - maybe it's the air there, the the old part of the town where the kingdom is . . . just the atmosphere, maybe. Who knows? It's in the mountains, I love mountains actually.
What I want to show you is a part of the great "Sound and Light" spectacle. It's such a big attraction and you'll love it for sure! Just check the link below - it's an youtube video ( not uploaded by me ). The video shows just some parts of the spectacle and maybe you'll not get the point. But if you see it some day . . . You'll never forget it! I'm feeling great because of such things! It proves that we, the people, still can create wonderful things! Watch the video and then, please, tell me what you think.

stand87 wow I saw that and was really really impressed. I wou ld so'
love to see more, as that was just a taste.How proud you must be
to be there and see that sound and light spectacle. If I ever get
'a chance to come to your country I will surely go there. That music
too was just wonderful. I am trying to remember who that composer was,
'in some ways it sounded like something Mozart wrote but not quite,
do you happen to know by any chance?

It's great, actually!
It's not Mozart, it's a Bulgarian composer. The music is a mix of lots of folklore songs and melodies plus new modern arrangement. And all this with the effect of the light on the Tsarevets kingdom becomes one real big attraction . . . At the culmination of the spectacle you can even cry! It's so effective, the concept is unique . . .
If you ever come to Bulgaria you should visit Veliko Tarnovo and watch the show! The big one will be performed after few days. There's one big performing in the year - I think it's 23th of March. There are others too, but not that effective. I'm not sure, but there are around 100 000 people who will go to V. Tarnovo after few days to see the show.

Hello stand67! It is spectacle and events like this that keep our moral high and our outlook positive. It is good that your country and this city does such things. It looks outstanding! We have our community goings ons as well. We all get excited and enjoy the parades and such. Congrats back at ya!

ohhh, "Sound and light"- I want to see it from so long time,
but still have no time to go there and see it with my
own eyes. hope that next year I will have the chance to see it!
