iPad by Apple.What do you expect?

Hello everybody,
Recently the more expecting gadget on the market is the iPad.The experts opinions are contradictory.Some of them say it is great,the another ones share it is a step down.
On the other hand,the purchasers pre-order about 25.000 iPads per hour according to the latest studies.
What do you expect?

Hi treven,
I do not expect much from the ipad. The only use for it that I can see is for displaying digital media such as books or magazines, other than that it might make an expensive table mat. I can not see it selling too well except to those with more money than sense or those that just have to have the latest Apple gadget.

Yes it is Apple mania. The launch day was just on the news over here and the crowds of people wanting to get their hands on one was unbelievable. Many people seem to just go crazy over anything with the Apple logo on it indeed.
Don't get me wrong I am no Apple hater, I think their products are excellent and the i-pod has to be one of their best. I do agree with you though the ipad does have a lot, and better competition.

i read about features and purposes about this device and it is smply strange...so in reality i did not expect much from this device but now that is revealed i think is just an apple gadget for apple maniac but not really necessary fro others or pretty important purposes..

The only thing that I can say is I want to have one...LOL I really like it but yes it expensive.. But still hoping to get one in the near future.

I feel like the iPad is just a rather large Touch with an AT&T data plan. :/ Apple said that the iPad was put out to rival the Kindle, which it will do, but for 500 dollars? You can buy laptops cheaper than that and read all the books your heart desired with the rest of the money you saved.
If someone where to Jailbreak the iPad, and the price fall, then I MIGHT consider getting one. Until then I'll stick to the iSlate rumors. The rumors seem to be quite real and I'd rather wait for that.
