Our school had a survey wherein they asked us...
"If your house was burning, what will you bring with you?".
There were answers such as money, cellphone, books and many more. There was a best answer in that survey. I'd like to also ask you mylotters to participate in this survey. I hope you mylotters will participate.

If this is nighttime I would grab my pocketbook which is in my bedroom then run to my granddaughters room pick her up as I yell for cody my dog to follow me. Since I have 3 ways to escape I should be able to get out without injury. I grabbed my pocketbook so I wouldn't have to apply for a new license or credit cards. Now if this was to happen during the day I would still run and get my pocketbook with my granddaughter beside me.

Everyone should be prepared in case of fire. Know what would they take if anything and out they would get out of their house or apartment. It could save a life.

First of all I need to get my daughter where ever she is in the house, make sure everybody is safe b4 the other stuff. and if I still have a chance to get my personal stuff like wallet, documents, cellfone, maybe clothes also. that's probably my best thing to do. But its all depend how worse the burning right? In Jesus name, hope that's not gonna happen. Their is a sayin in other country "much better somebody gonna steal inside your house, rather than your house is burn" Nahh, both disagree for me...good luck for your survey!

Our house actually got burned two years ago and it was truly very devastating for our family. It was day time and I wasn't home the night before it happened, I slept over at my friend's workplace. It was a school day so only my brother was home, and he actually didn't bring anything with him as he just woke up and walked out of the house. The fire didn't start from our house, it started from our neighbor but it spread fast. Anyway, if I was at home that time, I would have saved important documents which I now need to request again such as birth certificates, etc.

We have a designated cabinet for important documents and stuff. If we have to run for our lives because of a fire outbreak, the first thing I will do is grab everything from that cabinet. Also, I will bring along my wallet and cellphone. Lastly, I will also get some extra clothings.
