contact the service provider, you probably messed up with the PIN code and the next it asks for the PUK code, use some other phone and call the service customer care executive, they would ask some details about the ownership of the phone and they would let you know the code a brief questionnaire.

Hi,I too had the same problem earlier.Well,PUK code can be obtained in two ways. The first one is that you can rush out to the nearest help centre/show room of your service provider and ask them about it.They will definitely help you.The second one is that you can call the customer care of your service provider from any of your friend's mobile(who uses the same service that you use) and ask them about it.They will ask you to tell the number printed on the SIM card(for which you need the PUK code). That's it.Note down the number they give you and insert it.All done. Now,enter your new PIN code twice(you can enter whatever you want, but remember it). It's better to write your PUK number somewhere,so that you don't have to go through all this process again.Cheers,..

It happended to me before, my celphone was locked and I can't seem to open it up, it's asking for the PUK code, it is included in the simcard package that you bought initially, just like the initial PIN code of the ATM cards. What I did was to call my network provider and request for the PUK code of my simcard. You will be asked to enter it to your cellphone so it function again.

Yeah, they're right, and incidentally a PUK code is also what you ask for if you want to transfer number to a new service provider (network) I believe...:-)
