It's very rare to find people who are already of age to watch this sort of a movie because many say that it is only for kids. But for me, movies which has something to do with magic collaborated with a great love story and a tag ending of "And they live happily ever after" would certainly hooked me. One of the unforgettable fantasy movie that I have ever watch was the movie Thumbelina. It was an animated film released last 1994. It was a story of a little woman who was born out of a flower and who fell inloved with the fairy prince. The main cast was also composed of winged creatures and some singing and talking animals. But what I loved most is the themesong of the movie entitled "Let Me Be Your Wings" which was originally sung by Barry Manilow. Certainly, it was a great song for me. I watched the movie last 1998, I am a second year highschool by that time. And last night, I decided to watch it again at home and I felt the same way just like the first time I watched the movie. How about you? Are you one of the same type of person who usually watch those kind of movies? If so, what is your all time favourite fantasy movie and why?

I think I was 12 years old when I watched "Thumbelina". I didnt like it very much because she was so weak. She didnt have the fighting spirit and always said "its impossible". I am just the kind of person who wants women to be tough. I like Mulan, Cinderella, Belle cause they were all tough even though they were just a woman. Thumbelina doesnt have that so I dont really like her character that much. My mom love it so much though. I think she watched for so many times. I love Cinderella. Its really my favorite. I also have a favorite princess movie these days and that is "The Princess and the Frog".

I love Cinderella too but Thumbelina was the best for me, as a movie. Love it to bits. LOL! I don't know why but I fell inlove with the theme song. Maybe your mom and I were mesmerized by the movie for the very same reason but honestly I really don't know what makes it the best for me.

I loved that movie!! I also loved the Swan Princess when I was a kid, but I saw it recently and didn't enjoy it as much.I loved Anastasia. I loved the music, the characters, the animation. I also like most of the "Disney Renaissance" films- Little Mermaid to Tarzan.

Oh man! Bring back some childhood memories there! I was about 4 or 5 when I first saw Thumbelina. I was amazed that frogs could sing. ^ ^ I remember watching old Felix the Cat movies that we had on VHS, as well as some Pokey and Gumby movies. I don't really know what my favorite fantasy movie is, only because there are so many to choose from!

Those frogs really look scary but they could sing so well. Maybe they are very famous in the vale of the frogs in their native land Spain. LOL!
