Well I have been asking myself this question lately. Only I have the husband issue. Lately I am wondering if I really want to live the rest of my life with my BF. He wanted to get married this year. But, there are too many things standing in the way. Last night he came home late again. Tells me he will be here within an hour, three hours later I am still awake and cannot sleep. He comes home drunk. I think without a man, I would have less stress and more money. He costs a lot of money with his smoking and drinking and buddy stuff. But, then again I am not perfect either. I love him. But I don't know if it is worth living with him and getting married. I think even a man can do without a wife, like a women without a husband. But lets face it, alone is alone.

Yes I suppose your right. But sometimes I wonder if he really is worth it. He never keeps his promises, and is often irritated. He tries, but sometimes it feels like I am the man around here. I would like a man to be a real man, so I can feel like a women. But I guess that is just in fairy tales.

life with out husband, that sounds real good to me at the moment. i'm working towards it as well, in getting rid of my long term partner. lot of stuff has happened on why i want rid of him, but he can't understand why. i've got one child with him, and we're better of by our selves. i'm not a kid person, so maybe one extra will do me and i'm still in no hurry for that. but i'm also happy by my self, freedom to do what i want and not have to answer to someone. long as you know where you can get some real loving when needed, does it matter when we get married.

There is no law that says you have to be married. If true love shows up at your door, you won't say no!!!

I would imagine that you have reasons for not wanting to get married. Oddly, statistically, men benefit from the married state more than women do in terms of health as men get older. Not a reason to get married I suppose, just an observation.

it is ok , a couple just stay and be happy that is better than get married and fighting ,quarrel , alot of things happen ,some people think it is not good , but my thinking it is ok if both part is happy.

I'm already 30 years old but still single, single male. But I have plan of getting married before age 35 and I also wonder what it would be like to live a life without a wife? Without a family of your own?

If you wont get yourself a wife then you will be missing one half of your life...lol! I think getting married is already a part of people's lives. Though there are a lot of people who would discourage other people to get married, I think its still a good thing because that's the start of having a good family. There will be hardships of course but the couple should be ready to work out for their differences.
