Does anyone know what feathers mean in a dream?

Can someone help me please?
For months I have been having dreams that incorporate feathers.
the dreams are not always the same, but the one recurring theme is feathers. I am laying on a bed of feathers with my girlfriend, I am walking down the road and it starts raining feathers, I get attacked by a giant feather and so on.
Can anyone tell me what this means please?

I'm no expert on such matters but I think feathers are supposed to be lucky..picking one up from the ground in real life is anyway.
White feathers were given out to soldiers who refused to go to "the front line" in the First World War to show them they were being cowards.
What colour were the feathers? Do you know?
