Guys out there who know about push and pull technology with RSS Feeds , please let me know, i am building a media website and need to implement this kind of technology .

i do not know what is push and pull technology,is it related to the doors,there is a sticker on the doors that pull or push,and what is the RSS feeds,i am hearing new words in the net let me know more details about the push and pull technology and RSS feeds,have a nice day
